After over a year of distancing and mask-wearing, things are starting to go back to normal as people get vaccinated. Being able to go to the movie theater, concerts, and see friends is now a possibility. Rambo and the Terminator are taking full advantage of this, with a reunion taking place for the first time in a year. Sylvester Stallone posted on his Instagram a selfie of him hanging out with Arnold Schwarzenegger. In the second image, the two of them are joined by Gladiator actor Ralf Moeller and the Rocky star’s brother Frank Stallone.

With the four of them all hanging out in the second image, it is uncertain whether any collaboration is brewing. Sylvester Stallone and the others may only be hanging out as friends. Still, the actor was smart to share a look at them all on his Instagram, where he posts frequently.
Being set apart, the actors have kept themselves busy. Sylvester Stallone has been focused on his work as he has edited together a new cut of Rocky IV. Meanwhile, his co-star and friend Arnold Schwarzenegger has been vocal about people keeping safe during the pandemic.
The two were not always friends. Decades back, when they were first getting started in Hollywood, they had a feud going. With careers rising at the same time and in the same way with violent action movies from Sylvester Stallone in Rambo to Arnold Schwarzenegger in Predator.
The war went on, but it ended in peace. As seen from the recent picture, the two actors have become friends. Their first collaboration was on the ensemble action movie The Expendables in 2010, sealing the deal on their personal and professional relationship. They continued to grow this as Sylvester Stallone had his Austrian co-star have a bigger role in both of its sequels, Expendables 2 in 2012 and Expendables 3 in 2014. In between, the two joined forces for 2013’s Escape Plan.
Sylvester Stallone has a busy schedule ahead of him, not making much room to collaborate with his former enemy. He currently has on his agenda to do the superhero movie Samaritan with Dascha Polanco (Orange Is the New Black), Pilou Asbæk (Game of Thrones), and Martin Starr (Silicon Valley). The long-time star will be in the sci-fi movie Little America, which will be directed and written by Rowan Athale (Outside the Wire). These are a bit away, but fans can catch his voice as King Shark in The Suicide Squad on August 6, 2012.
The two have the potential to reunite on the big screen, depending on Arnold Schwarzenegger. At this time, Sylvester Stallone is the only one confirmed for Expendables 4. It is likely that other co-stars will return as it has kept the core cast this long, but it is still a bit in the air. Besides Expendables, the former California governor has plenty of things to shoot first. He is scheduled to do Kung Fury 2 with Michael Fassbender (12 Years a Slave), a Western TV series called Outrider, the sequel to Twins with Triplets starring Danny Devito (It’s Always Sunny in Philidelphia) and Eddie Murphy (Beverly Hills Cop), and he will reprise his role as Conan in The Legend of Conan.
