See Jessica Alba Walk The Red Carpet In A Stunning Strapless Dress
There’s no question about it – Jessica Alba looks amazing in whatever she’s wearing. The actress never seems to age, and in a new Instagram post, which you can see below, she proves to be able to keep up with the younger names in the biz like Brie Larson and Megan Fox. The photo in question features the Dark Angel actress during a night out on the red carpet while attending the Red Sea International Film Festival where she dressed to impress in a cream-colored gown with a glittery cross-stitch pattern.
Further drawing in our gazes, Jessica Alba’s look featured dazzling dangling earrings and red lipstick, with a small, but very cute clutch to pull it all together. In her caption, the actress wrote about the importance of lifting up women in the film industry and celebrating their “control” to pen and act out their “own stories and narratives.” She passed out thanks to several people who were champions for women in the motion picture biz and added that with “so many voices,” there’s always room for more to be heard.
Jessica Alba wasn’t the only one having a huge night at the Red Sea International Film Festival as some of the biggest news to come from the exciting event was Jackie Chan’s announcement that a Rush Hour 4 is on its way. With his big reveal, fans are more anxious than ever to hear about the next steps for the film trilogy that bowed out back in 2007. As of right now, no further information has been released, but expectations are high for Jackie Chan to reprise his role alongside Chris Tucker.
While it’s been a minute since we saw Jessica Alba return to the screen, the actress will (hopefully) soon be appearing in Netflix’s feature-length production, Trigger Warning. The film, which was helmed by Mouly Surya (Marlina the Murderer in Four Acts) was due out this year, but silence has fallen over the project, so it’s anyone’s guess as to when Alba’s latest thriller will be released. The movie centers around a veteran (Jessica Alba) struggling with an intense case of PTSD who comes to own her grandfather’s bar after he passes away.
But, when she learns the truth about how her loved one died, she’s not so sure that she wants to take over his business. Along with Jessica Alba, the film is also set to star Anthony Michael Hall, Mark Webber, Jake Weary, Tone Bell, Gabriel Basso, Kaiwi Lyman, and Hari Dhillon. Although production was set to roll cameras back in 2021, it’s been a long time since we received any updates on what would be Alba’s big return to the screen following the wrap of her television crime series, L.A.’s Finest, which called it quits back in 2020.
With all the news surrounding Marvel’s Phase 6 feature-length kicker offer, Fantastic Four, fans have been wondering if the studio will involve Jessica Alba or any of her ex-co-stars who were featured in the early 2000’s films: Fantastic Four and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. Alba starred in the franchise as Susan Storm aka The Invisible Woman alongside Ioan Gruffudd as Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic, Chris Evans as Johnny Storm aka Human Torch, and Michael Chiklis as Ben Grimm aka Thing. While Chris Evans would later take on the role of Captain America during the MCU reboot/resurrection, it could always be possible for the other members of the team to rejoin the upcoming feature in some way.
Jessica Alba has also recently made several comments about Marvel’s need to diversify their productions, so who knows – maybe this could be the film that will do exactly that.
