Jennifer Lopez stunned the internet by showing off some alluring blue lingerie for Valentine's Day.
Jennifer Lopez is getting ready for Valentine’s Day a few days early by showing off a set of turquoise lingerie. On Friday, On the Floor singer and star of Shotgun Wedding posted a slideshow of herself wearing a see-thru lace top and see-thru lace panties. She cryptically tells her followers that Valentine’s Day is just four days away, with the hashtag #sneakpeak.
The post appears to be a promotion of Intimissi lingerie, a brand that has been around for about 27 years, primarily selling its products through Victoria’s Secret. Jennifer Lopez joins a long line of celebrities who have promoted the popular Italian clothing brand, including actress Dakota Johnson, singer Mariah Carey, and actress Wang Zixuan.
Jennifer Lopez is wearing intimissi’s Steal the Show Balconette Bra, a see-through lace bra that comes in both turquoise and black. It’s part of a larger line of similarly designed Steal the Show lingerie, including the Steal the Show Elettra Super Push-up Bra, Steal the Show Bodysuit, Steal the Show Thong, Steal the Show High Rise Brazillian, and Steal the Show ‘80s Style Hipster Brazilian panties.
This isn’t the first time that Jennifer Lopez has used her Instagram account to show off some stunning looks. She showed off the sparkly transparent gown that she wore to the Shotgun Wedding premiere, the busty satin top she wore on New Year’s Eve and the crystal navy blue gown that she wore to the Grammys.
Interestingly, Intimissi also has a line of underwear for men, though it strays pretty far from the lacy, see-through look of the lingerie that Jennifer Lopez has put on display. One of its more noteworthy items is a pair of boxers with an actual plush teddy bear strapped to the front. Yes, it’s right where you’d expect it.
The men’s section of Intimissi’s site also has a pair of boxers featuring a large lightbulb displaying the words “turn on,” and a pair with a big heart featured front and center. It also includes what is probably the most popular item on the men’s page: a gift card to give to a lady friend. Men probably are slightly more interested in their significant other dressing up like Jennifer Lopez than they are in themed boxers or briefs.
Outside of promoting lingerie, 53-year-old Jennifer Lopez has recently been moving forward with a Hollywood career. She starred in two films in 2022 — the aforementioned Shotgun Wedding and the romantic comedy Marry Me. Marry Me, which co-stars Owen Wilson only received mediocre reviews from critics, though it’s notable for being the first film to ever be based on an American webcomic.
This year, Jennifer Lopez will move on from the comedy genre into the action thriller space with The Mother. In the film, she plays an assassin who is on the run from dangerous assailants, only to come out of hiding to protect a daughter that she had abandoned long ago. The film, which co-stars Joseph Fiennes and Gael García Bernal, will be released on Netflix on May 12, 2023.
