Pitch Perfect star Brittany Snow was one of many celebrities who showed up for the GQ Man of the Year party in November, which kicked off the magazine’s December issue featuring the men distinguished with the magazine’s honor. The party was a massive gala that featured some of the best styles worn in Hollywood right now, and Brittany Snow was one of the gems of the evening in a classic black cocktail dress with a very revealing decolletage. The actress posted pictures of herself in the dress on her Instagram account.
Even at the young age of 38, Brittany Snow is already a veteran of movie and television sets, starting out with two episodes of Seaquest 2032 when she was only 8 years old. A stint in the soap opera Guiding Light from 1999 to 2000 helped propel her to a more prominent role in the NBC drama American Dreams. That show lasted three seasons, and she appeared in 61 episodes.
Next up for the star were roles as teenagers and young adults in shows such as Nip/Tuck and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, as well as her breakout role in the teen comedy John Tucker Must Die and as rival dancer Amber Von Tussle in the movie version of the Broadway musical adaptation of Hairspray. Brittany Snow also played the lead in the horror movie Prom Night, which co-starred Ming-Na Wen and Idris Elba, exposing her to some high-caliber star power at an early age. During this time, she also did some voice acting and appeared in music videos with Zac Efron and Ashley Tisdale.
This experience paid off when she joined the cast of Pitch Perfect in 2012. As a capella singer Chloe, Brittany Snow was part of a phenomenon that would spawn a successful franchise. Pitch Perfect met with good reviews and was a box office success and the sequel was so wildly successful worldwide that it supplanted School of Rock to become the highest-grossing music comedy of all time.
Most recently, Brittany Snow can be seen in the romantic comedy Christmas with the Campbells with Justin Long and Alex Moffat, which was produced by The Wedding Crashers star Vince Vaughn and Peter Billingsley of A Christmas Story. She was also in the hit A24 horror movie X, which was directed by Ti West and co-stars Jenna Ortega and an exceptional Mia Goth in a dual role as a sexy porn star and an aged murderer. In X, she plays Bobby-Lynne, a porn actress looking for fame in an independent film in the 1970s.
Brittany Snow has also taken to being behind the camera, putting her decades of on-set experience to work in a new way. She has already directed one short film, and her first feature, Parachute, is completed and expected to be released in March 2023. Parachute stars Courtney Eaton, Thomas Mann, Kid Cudi, and Joel McHale and has already been nominated for the South by Southwest Film Festival Grand Jury Award.
