Anna Kendrick could pull off just about any look, but the recent Instagram post she made takes stunning to the next level. Kendrick posted a photo of her donning a jewel-toned blue dress with black heels. Take a look at the post below:
Anna Kendrick is currently getting acclaim for her performance in the drama Alice, Darling which follows a woman trapped in an emotionally abusive relationship. She begins to get some perspective when her two close friends stage an intervention while on vacation. The film is the directorial debut of Mary Nighy and is written by Alanna Francis.
Alice, Darling stars Anna Kenrick along with Kaniehtiio Horn, Charlie Carrick, Wunmi Mosaku, and Mark Winnick. The film hit theaters on January 20, so you should still be able to see it if you’re interested. It currently has an impressive 83 percent critic approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Meanwhile, if you want to see Anna Kendrick’s goofy side, and her ability to handle hot sauce, you can watch her in her new Hot Ones interview. The popular interview show challenges guests to answer questions about their life and career as they eat progressively hotter hot wings. Kendrick more than holds her own, despite dealing with super high Scoville levels.
Anna Kendrick is undoubtedly best known for her acting career, starring in major franchises like Pitch Perfect, Trolls, and Twilight. She also nabbed an Oscar nom for her fantastic performance in Up in the Air. However, now it seems like Kendrick is ready to step behind the camera.
Anna Kendrick will be making her directorial debut with the upcoming film The Dating Game. The Dating Game tells the hard-to-believe-it’s-true story of serial killer Rodney Alcala entering a dating game show competition and winning amid a killing spree. Not only will Kendrick be directing and producing The Dating Game, but she will also be starring.
Along with Anna Kendrick, The Dating Game will star Tony Hale, Daniel Zovatto, Kathryn Gallagher, Max Llyod-Jones, Kelley Jackle, Nicolette Robinson, Jessie Fraser, Darcy Laurie, Michael Jonsson, Autumn Best, Andy Thompson, and Taylor Hastings. Ian MacAllister McDonald penned the screenplay. There’s no word on a release date yet for The Dating Game, but it’s currently in the post-production phase.
Anna Kendrick will also be returning to one of her biggest franchises with Dreamworks’ Trolls 3, which is due out in November 2023. Kendrick will reprise her role as Queen Poppy while Justin Timberlake reprises his role of Branch. Trolls 3 is directed by Tim Heitz and Colin Jack.
Fans of the film A Simple Favor can also look forward to the upcoming sequel, with Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively returning to their roles. Jessica Sharzer has also written the screenplay for the sequel, and Paul Feig is returning to direct as well. The sequel will pick up on the character’s storylines from the original film, but there’s no official release date at this time.
