See Alexandra Daddario In A Sexy Goth Style
In the same light as Jenna Ortega and Christina Ricci wearing gothic-styled dresses to the premiere of the Wednesday series, Alexandra Daddario has taken on her own sexy goth style, as she walked the red carpet for the Mayfair Witches world premiere. Daddario is shown in an incredibly flowy dress that cascades out at the bottom, which is complemented well by its shimmering gold and black coloring. Daddario posted the images on her Instagram page, which you can see below:
Alexandra Daddario smiles ear-to-ear in the above images, as she walks the red carpet and snaps photos with many of her costars, and a cute dog as well. We are not sure if the dog is Daddario’s, or if the dog also has a role to play in the Mayfair Witches, but we are certainly here for it. Daddario’s caption speaks on the release date of the new AMC series, as she states, “I can’t wait for y’all to see the show on January 8th.”
The new Mayfair Witches series that Alexandra Daddario is starring in has been pulled directly from a set of Anne Rice novels, which are called Lives of the Mayfair Witches. Sadly, Anne Rice passed away last year and was meant to serve as an executive producer on the show. Her son, Christopher Rice, will now be taking on that role.
The Mayfair Witches series is one of two shows on AMC that have been adapted from Anne Rice’s novels. The Interview with the Vampire series is the other series, which has already gotten off to a great start, as it has been renewed for a second season recently. The Lives of the Mayfair Witches novel series also crossovers with The Vampire Chronicles novel series, which The Interview with the Vampire show is adapted from, meaning we could see Lestat and Dr. Rowan Fielding (Alexander Daddario) meet at some point in the future.
Mayfair Witches follows Dr. Rowan Fielding (Alexandra Daddario), as she is one of the world’s best neurosurgeons. However, Fielding discovers that she is also the heiress of a coven of powerful witches, who are haunted by an evil spirit. With The Walking Dead’s mainline story finally wrapping up, we might be seeing a new champion of AMC crowned with this Daddario-led macabre story.
Alexandra Daddario has been growing her career exponentially for years now, and with this new starring role in the Mayfair Witches series, we could be seeing the fan-favorite actress net even bigger roles. She was part of the ensemble cast for The White Lotus, which she was fantastic in, which also likely led to her starring affair for AMC’s new Rice adaptation.
Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches officially debuts on AMC on January 8th. The series looks great so far, and we can’t wait to see Alexandra Daddario in the lead role, as she navigates being a doctor who also has to deal with witches wreaking havoc. She might also be a witch herself, considering her character is so good at brain surgery.
