Samara Weaving Is Gorgeous In See-Through Ripped-Up Dress
Samara Weaving wore a slashed-up dress that could either be a nod to the slasher films she's known for, a sophisticated fashion choice, or both!
If you’re getting tired of the ripped jeans look, then we’d like to suggest considering some other options. In this case, we’d like to point you to Samara Weaving’s Instagram page, where the Australian actress and model can be seen sporting a black, ripped-up, see-through dress that looks absolutely breathtaking! And if we really had to weigh in, she’s totally rocking the strategically tattered dress with a confident elegance that she seems to pull off effortlessly.
Samara Weaving can be seen showing off her dress while standing on a coffee table and pointing out of frame to somebody in the room with fire in her eyes and her tongue sticking out. Or maybe she’s just playfully posing for the sake of the photo opportunity. Whatever the occasion may be, the Australian actress appears to be at the top of her game and having a lot of fun; her followers and fans are also enamored by the series of photos on her feed.
Samara Weaving could be seen most recently in Scream 6, where she portrays Laura Crane, an Australian film professor who is well-versed in slasher films. Though she didn’t have a whole lot of screen time (or Scream time!), the Ash vs. Evil Dead star definitely brought some style to the horror-comedy franchise while sporting a stylish yellow dress. And Laura Crane is right to be enthusiastic about the fictional Stab franchise that’s popular in the Scream films because she certainly knows how to deliver the goods in this particular genre.
You can see Samara Weaving exercising her horror chops in 2019’s Ready or Not film, which is a black comedy involving a deadly game of hide-and-seek in a creepy mansion. The premise is simple: if you draw the hide-and-seek card in the locked-down mansion, whoever finds you can kill you, but if you make it through the night in one piece, the hunters meet their brutal fate instead. Weaving’s role of Grace le Domas finds her in exactly this situation, and she either needs to run or fight for her life in this dark and humorous take on the child’s game.
Samara Weaving got her acting career started on the Australian drama series, Out of the Blue, which follows a group of friends returning home for a high school reunion that ends with a murder; the source of drama comes in the form of the subsequent investigation. When the series came to an end, she moved on to the role of Indi in the Australian-UK soap opera Home and Away, which propelled her into international fame. When the series came to an end, her career only continued to snowball in the form of more acting gigs (Ash vs. Evil Dead, Mystery Road).
Though Samara Weaving enjoys the horror-comedy genre, she also saw her modeling debut in 2012 for Bonds, an Australian underwear brand. Given her sense of fashion and humor, we can only speculate that the ripped-up black dress she’s sporting on her Instagram page may be a playful nod to the slasher films she’s so enthusiastic about. Whether she’s just up on her fashion or giving us a wink and a nudge over the seemingly slashed-up apparel, we know that success looks great on Samara Weaving!
