Anyone who follows her knows that Salma Hayek has no problem sharing pieces of her life on Instagram. Though it’s not the case for everyone embracing celebrity culture, the 55-year-old (you read that correctly) actress has been getting after it in a number of different settings and this past weekend was no different. For the actress who has one of the most iconic dance numbers ever in a film (she was a vampire the whole time!) moving to the music is clearly at the core of her being. That was something she showed off while attending a recent concert.

Salma Hayek took to Instagram to post about a concert she was at on Saturday and this was a close-up shot of the actress putting on some salsa moves while she was backstage. She’s there with a guest and the actress made sure to thank both Marc Anthony and Nadia Ferreira for the excellent show in London. Check out the post and you can tell why she was so excited for the opportunity.

It only took about eight hours for Salma Hayek’s Instagram post to amass close to 150,000 likes on the social media platform. The actress herself has more than 21 million followers altogether on Instagram with massive engagement whenever she shares something. This was no different and was especially exciting for fans of both her and the legendary singer. So on that front, she basically had all bases completely covered.

And this doesn’t look like it is going to be the last dancing she’s going to be doing either. Far from it. Salma Hayek is set to take part in Magic Mike’s Last Dance. She is replacing Thandiwe Newton in the movie after the latter exited the production following what had been initially reported as personal reasons. But it came to light later that Newton was possibly fired from her undisclosed role after a fight with franchise star Channing Tatum. Apparently, according to Page Six, this all stemmed from the two arguing over the events between Will Smith and Chris Rock at the Academy Awards. Regardless, Salma Hayek will now take over in the part.

And Salma Hayek is coming off a successful 2021 that saw her enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Eternals as well as have a role in House of Gucci. Things aren’t slowing down at all for the actress who seems to have as much energy as ever, this latest Instagram post is just another example of the vim and vigor for the actress.

She’s also set to reprise her role as Kitty Softpaws in Puss in Boots: The Last Wish with Antonio Banderas. That movie is set to hit screens this year and will be the final movie in the trilogy. And finally, there is a currently untitled project for the actress which will have Paul Feig in the director’s chair in a story about a diplomat living London. And maybe she has some more concerts coming down the pike as well.
