See Salma Hayek Own The Red Carpet In Fishnets And A Leather Dress
Salma Hayek wore a sexy leather dress with fishnets at the 2023 BRIT Awards.
Salma Hayek shared her pre-BRIT Awards prep in a recent post on Instagram, giving fans a first look at her sexy skin-tight leather dress, fishnet tights, and chunky leather platform boots. The Magic Mike’s Last Dance actress also shared how her makeup artists were touching up her dark eye makeup, giving her a look akin to that of a sexy vampires.
In a second post, Salma Hayek shared a video of her posing at the BRIT Awards, modeling the outfit we saw her getting ready in. In this video, we also see the Hollywood veteran walk over to fix something in her husband’s pocket, making her seem just like your average, ordinary wife instead of a superstar actress.
According to Footwear News, Salma Hayek’s “grunge” look came from Alexander McQueen’s spring 2023 collection. The fitted dress included a sheer, black neckline beneath the corset bodice, and the skirt itself was reminiscent of a black leather motorcycle jacket, complete with snaps, studs, buttons, and zippers.
This “punk” outfit was finished off by a shimmery, knotted silver necklace that Salma Hayek wore just over her clavicle, accentuating her neckline and chest, and those platform boots, which Footwear News estimated to be “at least” four inches tall (and they would know, seeing as they are experts on the subject of shoes).
While this punk rock look may be a new one for the actress, Salma Hayek is well-known for her love of high heels. Just this past January, she wore a pair of golden, block-heeled sandals by Larroudé to the Magic Mike’s Last Dance premiere, where she also wore a fishnet-style look. This time, though, it was the dress that was made of mesh with floral accents, revealing her black bra and panties and her sculpted physique.
Salma Hayek was just one of the many stars who came out for the BRIT Awards show, which celebrates the best in British and international music. The big winner of the night was Harry Styles, who made quite a statement in his own outfit. He went shirtless under a black suit that flared out at the waist, with flared pants to match and an enormous flower worn at his neck that almost obscured his face.
Singer Lizzo also gave Salma Hayek some competition for best dressed when she showed up in a shiny, black and gold gown made of mixed metal by Robert Wun. The skin-tight body of the dress hugged her curves while gold ruffles fanned out all around her, from behind her head down to the floor near the soles of her thin, strappy sandals.
Unlike Salma Hayek, who attended the event in person, one of the other big winners of the night, Beyonce, accepted her awards for International Artist of the Year and International Song of the Year via video. That doesn’t mean she still didn’t get dressed up, though. Like Salma Hayek, Harry Styles, and even Lizzo, Beyonce, too, wore black, although her outfit featured a black and white checkerboard pattern, a black and white zebra pattern, and fuzzy, puffy, black and white sleeves.
So, no matter who won the musical prizes, it seems like everyone was a winner in terms of fashion, with Salma Hayek placing high on the best-dressed list.
