See Salma Hayek Dripping Wet In A Bathtub

One of the more difficult to believe facts to absorb is that this September Salma Hayek will turn 57 years old. The star looks just as lovely as she did almost 30 years ago in her breakthrough role in Robert Rodriguez‘s Desperado, and she proves it on the cover of the latest issue of DuJour. The luxury lifestyle publication features the always sexy Hayek lounging in a tub on the front of their mag, as you can see below.
To look at Salma Hayek, you might think the keen mind behind her ageless beauty doesn’t concern itself at all with age, but she told a different story in her conversation with DuJour. The Puss in Boots: The Last Wish star thinks a lot about how she’ll look as time continues its march. It’s just that, as she explained while talking about her feelings on botox, the Oscar-nominated actress is looking for “longevity.”
“I don’t believe in Botox because your face doesn’t move, and it’s something you have to do for the rest of your life, more and more every time… I think of longevity… I’m in love with my husband, and I want to look like a lovely lady when I’m 70. I want him to see me and think, ‘Okay, my girl is old now, but there’s still beauty there.’”

Salma Hayek is certainly still enjoying the beauty right now, and that isn’t all her body has blessed her with. She told the magazine while she doesn’t get a lot of action roles anymore, when she got the call for The Hitman’s Bodyguard movies, in some cases she was able to do her own stunts. She quipped, “Mind you, the next morning I was full of bruises and I couldn’t move for two weeks but, man, did I show off that day!”
In 2009, Salma Hayek married the French billionaire François-Henri Pinault and so, as DuJour points out, the star of the upcoming Magic Mike’s Last Dance doesn’t need to keep working for the sake of her bank account. The actress says she still enjoys acting, however, and that in some ways she enjoys it more because the pressure she felt in her younger days is gone.
Speaking with OK! Magazine (via The News), Salma Hayek said that another thing that has changed with age is that she still feels anxious, but about different things. She gave the example of no longer feeling claustrophobic if she gets the window seat on a plane, but at the same time she feels more anxious about getting to her destination because “there’s less time ahead.”
Salma Hayek didn’t star in any live-action films in 2022, but fans were able to hear her return to the role of Kitty Softpaws in the long-awaited sequel Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. On February 10 she’ll star opposite Channing Tatum in the final film of his career-defining Magic Mike trilogy, Magic Mike’s Last Dance.
