Summer is here and while it might be Monday, we’re hoping that everyone had a terrific weekend celebrating the warmer temperatures. Sharing a post with her fans to show them her idea of the perfect weekend, Salma Hayek dropped a photo on Instagram, which you can see below of the Magic Mike’s Last Dance star basking in some much-needed rest and relaxation. Sending some TGIF energy out to her devoted following, Hayek can be seen in a long nightgown while strolling around her home in bare feet.
Posing for her photo op, Salma Hayek looks a little sleepy with her eyes squinting at the camera. Behind her, we see an unmade bed, signaling that she’s either just gotten up for the day or is leaving those daily chores for later. As dazzling as ever, even a freshly out-of-bed Hayek is stunning us with her gorgeous look.
After having two major films drop over the last year, Salma Hayek certainly deserves to take some time off and enjoy a day or two in her nightgown. Most recently, we spotted the actress at the Cannes Film Festival where she was in attendance for the French event that saw the premieres of projects including Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, Elemental, and HBO’s latest series, The Idol. Always dressed to impress, we’re sure that Hayek is enjoying dressing down following a string of days that saw her dressed to the nines on the red carpet with paparazzi capturing each new outfit.
Along with attending the Cannes Film Festival, 2023 has seen Salma Hayek go on another country-hopping adventure when she traveled to Jordan’s city, Petra. Taking in one of the seven wonders of the world, the Hollywood star shared pictures of her time overseas with her audience, taking them along with her every step of the way.
Outside of her travels, Salma Hayek has been celebrating the arrival of two major motion pictures over the last year. After over a decade away from her role in Puss in Boots, the actress went back into the voice studio to lend her talents to the film’s sequel Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. Once again teaming up with Antonio Banderas, the duo brought audiences the long-awaited next chapter in the swashbuckling cat’s life story.
Things got steamy for Salma Hayek earlier this year when she appeared alongside Channing Tatum in the final installment of the hit franchise, Magic Mike. Magic Mike’s Last Dance saw Hayek as the apple of the titular character’s eye with Mike being forced back into the business of dancing after his business goes under. Filling out the film’s ensemble were Vicki Pepperdine, Juliette Motamed, Ayub Khan Din, Joe Manganiello, and Jamelia George.
Up next, audiences can expect to catch Salma Hayek working alongside Anne Hathaway in a film adaptation of Kotaro Isaka’s novel, Seesaw Monster. While no release date has yet been set for the Netflix feature, audiences can expect to see the two actresses’ characters pinned against one another as a set of rivals. With no director announced, it’s anyone’s guess as to how the film will take shape but Hayek better get her rest in now before her filming days pick up again.
