A recent post on Twitter by a user called Sluts and Guts has the internet drooling over a sensuous photo of Salma Hayek. In the snap, Hayek’s ample assets are on display in a tight, black lace bra held together over her chest by just a thin black string. Her long, black hair hides half of her face as she stares at the camera with a sultry, come-hither look.
Salma Hayek isn’t just known for her incredible beauty, however. She is also an extremely talented actress. She was the first Mexican female actor to be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress for her portrayal of painter Frida Kahlo in Frida in 2002, for which she also won a Golden Globe Award, a British Academy Film Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Award.
Salma Hayek also produced Frida, which inspired her to produce many more films while starring in other hits like Once Upon a Time in Mexico.
In recent years, Salma Hayek has branched out from more artistic fare to star in several more commercial comedy films like the Grown Ups and The Hitman’s Bodyguard series. She also lent her voice to animated films like Puss in Boots and Sausage Party before returning to dramas like Beatriz at Dinner, Eternals, and House of Gucci.
Her producing, acting, and directing skills have also gained her accolades in the TV sphere. She has earned four Emmy Award nominations over the years and won a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Directing in a Children’s Special for 2004’s The Maldonado Miracle. She has also received lots of recognition for her work as a guest actress and executive producer of the hit show Ugly Betty.
Outside of the film and television industry, Salma Hayek is a yoga enthusiast, which may be a part of why she has kept her famous figure so well at 56 years old. She is still hailed as being one of Hollywood’s most beautiful women, with some saying that she has only gotten more beautiful with age.
Unfortunately for her admirers, though, Salma Hayek is happily married to French billionaire François-Henri Pinault. Pinault is the CEO of Kering, a French multinational corporation that specializes in the sale of luxury items. Brands like Gucci, Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, and Yves Saint Laurent are all owned by Kering.
On March 9, 2007, Salma Hayek confirmed rumors that she was engaged to Pinault. She also revealed that she was pregnant, and gave birth to a baby girl in September of that same year. Pinault and Hayek were married in 2009 in Paris, France, and had a vow renewal ceremony two months later in Venice, Italy.
Normally, Salma Hayek keeps quiet about her children on social media, but Yahoo News reported recently that she has been sharing some current and throwback photos of her now-teenaged daughter who, just like her mother, is turning into quite a beauty.
Salma Hayek’s latest project, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, just premiered during the Christmas holidays and is in theaters now.
