See Penelope Cruz In A Black Corset And Very Short Pink Skirt
Penelope Cruz donned a tight black corset and a frilly pink short skirt while attending a Lancome store opening in Madrid.
Penelope Cruz has been one of the most prolific actresses of the last generation as she has appeared in films with such big names as Tom Cruise, Matthew McConaughey, Johnny Depp, and Jessica Chastain. She also has made a name for herself in fashion and cosmetics as she has been a spokesmodel for L’Oreal and has done campaigns for Mango and Ralph Lauren before becoming the third superstar face for Lancome in 2010, following Julia Roberts and Kate Winslet. She is still supporting the world-famous fragrance brand as she posted a shot of her looking stellar at the opening of their pop-up store in Madrid on her Instagram.
The Instagram post features two images of the actress in a carousel. The first sees her on a balcony overlooking an intersection in Madrid, and the second stands on the runway of Lancome’s grand opening. She is wearing a black corset top with a pink tutu skirt in both images, which she attributes to designer Alexandre Vauthier as part of his Alexandre Vauthier Spring 2023 Haute Couture collection. She styled the 80s-inspired minidress with gold hoop earrings and black accessories, allowing the pop of pink around the hips to speak for itself and giving Penelope Cruz a youthful and fun appearance.
The actress also attributed the images to a celebrity photographer based in Barcelona, Xavi Gordo, who has worked previously with Cruz for her Elle spread earlier this year. He has also worked with Austin Butler and Tom Hanks for their press tour for Elvis, Julia Roberts, and Gal Gadot. He has been featured on the cover of magazines worldwide, including Elle, Esquire, Baazar, and Madame.
Penelope Cruz also gives shout-outs to Pablo Iglesias for her nails, who worked with her for her cover and feature in the Christmas edition of Dust Magazine. Her nails were done by Lucero Hurtado, a Madrid mainstay who also worked with the Sahara actress on her Dust cover back over the holidays and featured the look from the Lancome opening on her Instagram page. She also called out Michael Philouze, the Men’s Editor for Vogue Magazine, who has most recently worked with Madonna, Jennifer Connely, and Daniel Craig.
While Cruz may be deep in the fashion, cosmetics, and fragrance world at the moment, to many from her generation, she is a movie star. Some of her biggest hits are Vanilla Sky, where she starred alongside Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz, Sahara, where she starred with Matthew McConaughey and Steve Zahn in the book adaptation; and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides with Johnny Depp, Geoffrey Rush, and Ian McShane.
