To celebrate her birthday, Pamela Anderson posted a series of sexy pics to Instagram.
Aging is part of the human condition, and many actors like Drew Barrymore and George Clooney have been outspoken about embracing it. Now, popular supermodel Pamela Anderson is another actress sharing her looks and the natural progression of time. In an Instagram post from February, 55-year-old Baywatch actress Pamela Anderson shared a set of vulnerable images taken from a shoot for Women’s Wear Daily.
Pamela Anderson‘s Instagram post was coupled with a caption that begins, “I’d rather show my freckles,” and “It’s fun getting old.” Later in the caption, she relishes: “I’m happy with who I am right now,” and “grateful for all of the love.” The 55-year-old actress shot the vulnerable set of images for Women’s Wear Daily, for which she appeared on the magazine’s February 9 digital cover.
The first image is a full-body side-angle image of Pamela Anderson in a flowing grey dress that extends well past her feet. It features a dynamic design, with a cut-out portion from the actress’s ribs that extends all the way down to the side of her thigh and waist. She is in front of an ombre backdrop that fades from a vivid dark sky blue to a muted grey, and the image looks as if oil-painted.
Some of the other images include Pamela Anderson sprawled on the floor in a muted yellow dress with silver-white fringes, hair blowing in the wind. Another shows the actress in presumably the same dress as the first image, except this time, she is staring off contemplatively into the distance while seated atop an antique armchair. The final is a simple close-up headshot that showcases the actress’s face without makeup, revealing her striking blue eyes and usually-covered freckles adorning her cheeks.
Pamela Anderson is known for her glamor modeling work in Playboy, as well as her starring role in the television drama Baywatch. Her career was sparked when she appeared as the cover girl on Playboy magazine’s October 1989 issue before being chosen as Playmate of the Month in 1990, which catapulted her to wider notoriety within the modeling industry and Hollywood. Anderson then turned to acting, appearing on the ABC sitcom Home Improvement for two seasons before her bombshell breakout role as beach-running, lifesaving CJ on Baywatch from 1992 to 1997.
