See Nicole Kidman Posing On Office Furniture In Sexy Video
A new video showcases Big Little Lies star Nicole Kidman as the new face of Balenciaga's fashion line.
Actress Nicole Kidman is proving once again that age is just a number, as a new promotional video for fashion giant Balenciaga proves. The Big Little Lies actress is the new face of their contemporary wardrobe collection, and the whimsical video features her in an offering from their Spring 2023 Garde-Robe line, which melds Balenciaga’s high sense of sophistication with casual comfort. Kidman is seen playfully lounging around an office, with the Aquaman star proving that you don’t need to sit in a chair to get work done.
While Balenciaga made its name in high-end fashion, the Garde-Robe line is ready-to-wear, and geared towards white-collar professionals who want to stand out in the corporate world. The line features luxe wool suits and separates, highlighted with silk, gabardine and denim. Nicole Kidman joins actors Isabelle Huppert (Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris) and Han So-hee (The World of the Married) and models Bella Hadid and Khadim Sock in the campaign.
The video comes just as Kidman made an appearance at Balenciaga’s Paris Couture Week showcase, where she first showed off the line. The 55-year-old actress has been a brand ambassador for a number of companies in recent years, including Chanel, Omega watches, Jimmy Choo shoes, and Neutrogena. It’s a side hustle that would make a supermodel jealous, and the Australian actress manages to balance it with a film and TV career that has made her one of the highest-paid and critically acclaimed actresses of our day.
Nicole Kidman most recently appeared in The Northman, the Viking epic from director Robert Eggers (The Witch) which also starred Alexander Skarsgård in the lead and Anya Taylor-Joy (Furiosa, Last Night in Soho). The role was a follow-up to her 2021 film Being the Ricardos, in which she played Lucille Ball during a tumultuous time in her personal and professional career. Her performance earned her a fifth Oscar nomination, for Best Actress in a Leading Role.
Kidman has won one Oscar during her stellar career, winning Best Actress for 2002’s The Hours. She also earned acting nods for her roles in Moulin Rouge! (2001), Rabbit Hole (2010), and Lion (2016). She is as busy as ever, with no less than six projects on her plate right now, most notably her return to the role of Atlanna in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, due to release in 2023.
Although raised in Australia – as her natural accent makes clear – Nicole Kidman was actually born in Hawaii in 1967, as her parents were in Honolulu on educational visas at the time of her birth. Although she loved to dance when she was young (she cites ballet as her first love), Kidman gravitated to acting, where she had some minor roles in various films until she scored a hit in her first American film, 1989’s Dead Calm with Sam Neill (Jurassic Park). Her next role would change her life, as she met future husband Tom Cruise on the set of Days of Thunder (1990).
Although her marriage to Cruise would eventually fizzle, her career went supernova, as she balanced blockbusters with Oscar-winning dramas. She would go on to star in Far and Away, Batman Forever, To Die For, Eyes Wide Shut, The Others, Paddington, and Bombshell. She is currently married to country music star Keith Urban.
