When Millie Bobby Brown decides to wish her fans Merry Christmas, she does it with her whole chest… so to speak. Over the weekend, the Stranger Things star posted a holiday message to her Instagram that is sure to both excite fans and make them envious. The lead of the Enola Holmes films wears a red bikini in the shot, as you can see below.
Millie Bobby Brown wears her hair tightly pulled back with a red flower matching her bikini. A simple but elegant pearl necklace adorns her neck and a netted skirt covers her bikini bottoms. She appears to be in the same tropical, sandy environment from which she previously posted a shot of herself with her boyfriend Jake Bongiovi, son of the iconic New Jersey rocker Jon Bon Jovi.
Particularly since turning 18 in February, Millie Bobby Brown has seemed intent on making sure the world sees her as more than the emotionally fragile Eleven of Netflix’s Stranger Things. Along with launching her own beauty line, florence by mills, Brown has been less than shy about expressing a sexier side than fans are used to on social media. She also has a long list of upcoming projects coming up, completely divorced from the Duffer Brothers’ Stranger Things.
Though most of her upcoming films have nothing to do with Stranger Things, Millie Bobby Brown is nevertheless staying “close to home,” so to speak, since they’re all Netflix originals. Rather than the Duffer brothers, Brown is teaming with another set of famous brothers — Anthony and Joe Russo of MCU fame — for The Electric State. The sci-fi film stars Brown as a young woman whose brother sends her a robot, and she uses the same robot to track him down.
The Electric State gives Millie Bobby Brown the chance to collaborate with some of the most impressive talent in Hollywood, including some stars who already worked with the Russos in the Marvel world like Chris Pratt and Anthony Mackie. Also appearing will be Giancarlo Esposito, Stanley Tucci, Jason Alexander, Jenny Slate, Ke Huy Quan, Brian Cox, and Billy Bob Thornton.
While as Eleven she’s fought metaphorical dragons, in the upcoming Damsel Millie Bobby Brown will be locking horns with a literal dragon. Her character, Princess Elodie, believes she’s being married off to a prince, but in fact, she’s meant to be sacrificed to a fire-breathing dragon.
Millie Bobby Brown is teaming up with another Netflix powerhouse, Jason Bateman of Ozark fame, for The Girls I’ve Been according to Deadline. Going hard against type, Brown will play a con woman in the thriller and Bateman will produce. Brown’s character will have to use all of her skills as a confidence artist to save her life, and those of her girlfriend and ex-boyfriend when they’re taken hostage at a bank.
