Mila Kunis Calls Out Ashton Kutcher And Reese Witherspoon’s Awkward Behavior
Mila Kunis made fun of both Ashton Kutcher and Reese Witherspoon for their red-carpet photos for Your Place or Mine.
Mila Kunis sure knows how to have fun at her husband’s expense, as the actress called out both Ashton Kutcher and Reese Witherspoon for their incredibly awkward behavior while promoting their new movie. Kutcher and Witherspoon are set to star in the romantic comedy, Your Place or Mine. However, images of the pair together looked as if they hate each other, as Witherspoon revealed to Today: “She goes, ‘You guys look so awkward on the red carpet together.’ … It’s just fun ’cause when you know a girlfriend so much, it was just fun to get to know her significant other ’cause I’ve loved her for so long.”
While the red-carpet photos seem to point to Ashton Kutcher and Reese Witherspoon hating one another, it appears they could have been engaging in the cold shoulder ploy to stay in character. At least, that is what one fan on Twitter pointed out, and at least one person is defending them. Mila Kunis, on the other hand, is letting it be known that the pair of actors look like they are going through the motions of their new movie.
At least Reese Witherspoon also understands that Mila Kunis is poking fun at the both of them, and this little barb is not in any way malicious. In fact, Witherspoon seems to be over the moon that she got to know Ashton Kutcher so well, that she also joined Kunis in poking fun at the man. Witherspoon added, “Every time he’d wear a funny outfit, I’d text Mila… I’d be like, ‘What is he wearing?'”
As previously mentioned, Ashton Kutcher and Reese Witherspoon are set to star in the new Netflix romantic comedy, Your Place or Mine, which follows two best friends who live on the opposite side of the United States. Ashton takes on the role of Peter, who is the best friend of Witherspoon’s Debbie. When life gets tough, Debbie heads on vacation while Peter watches her son, but soon starts to reveal his true feelings about Debbie.
The new movie is set to debut on February 10 on Netflix, which is only a couple of days away. The awkward moment on the red carpet that Mila Kunis pointed out is likely the promotional tour that both Ashton Kutcher and Reese Witherspoon are on to ensure that their new romantic comedy venture is a successful one. From the trailers, we would argue that the movie is going to do great on the streaming platform.
Your Place or Mine is certainly not the only Netflix property that these actors are all involved in, as both Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher returned as Jackie and Michael in the That ’90s Show sequel series, which was just renewed for a second season. Where the Crawdads Sing, produced by Reese Witherspoon’s production company, is also currently on Netflix.
Your Place or Mine will be on Netflix in two days, and we would imagine there is going to be far more chemistry between Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher in the movie. If there is not, then we will all likely look like we’re having as much fun as Witherspoon and Kutcher did on the red carpet for their movie. Thankfully, Ashton has Mila Kunis around to keep his awkward moments honest.
