Marilyn Manson has been released from jail after posting bail following an arrest warrant being put out involving a 2019 incident

Marilyn Manson has been released from jail, but it might only be for the time being. He had turned himself in to authorities late last week as part of a warrant out for his arrest on misdemeanor assault charges. He made bail and, for now, was able to leave the lockup. That being said, there are a number of other possible legal issues coming down the pike for Marilyn Manson who’s had some heinous allegations levied his way over the last few months.
This latest incident that had Marilyn Manson turn himself into the authorities stemmed from an interaction he had in New Hampshire in 2019. Following a concert there, he apparently spit and blew snot at a videographer covering the show. The latter filed charges against Manson for the act and there apparently was enough evidence to serve a warrant. This was filed years ago, but because Marilyn Manson never returned to the state, it wasn’t carried out. Authorities chose to make it public because the singer had ignored the requests to have him answer for the crime.
Marilyn Manson, through his attorneys, has denied this ever took place or the accounts of it didn’t warrant an assault charge. He intends to contest it in court. For the time being, he was released from a Los Angeles jail (where he turned himself in relative to the New Hampshire case) and has agreed to have no contact with the alleged victim.
Unfortunately, this isn’t the only set of legal issues facing Marilyn Manson whose real name is Bryan Hugh Wagner. A few months ago, former girlfriend Esme Bianco, an actress on Game of Thrones, accused Manson of sexual abuse. In a statement the actress put out on Twitter in April, she details some horrific accounts of abuse on the part of Manson while they were in a relationship together. In her statements, she accuses Marilyn Manson of grooming her from a younger age and engaging in sexual abuse, brainwashing, manipulation, rape, and even human trafficking for bringing her from England to the United States when they were together. She has decided to sue him for these abuses.
Others have come out in the public forum to detail claims of abuse at the hands of Marilyn Manson as well. Westworld actress Evan Rachel Wood came out back in February claiming Manson had been her abuser for years while they were in a relationship. She named him specifically in an Instagram post also saying he groomed her and abused her. She has not filed charges against Marilyn Manson with the allegations going all the way back to 2010, but it did draw attention to the rocker’s apparent pattern in these relationships.
While this latest incident doesn’t appear to have the same sexual abuse claims around it, it is just another in what is becoming a long list of heinous acts Marilyn Manson has been a part of. Whether he ends up seeing jail time, or the pending lawsuit enters the courts remains to be seen. What is clear is that his legal troubles are far from behind him and we continue to get accusations that paint a dark and disturbing picture around Manson.
