Kate Hudson is one of a few actresses known for their sense of fashion and owning the red carpet, and a recent look from New York Fashion Week may have been another instance where she joined several attendees whose looks stole the show. Hudson fans’ jaws were likely dropped. Her all-black fit features a bandeau top with a thin but plunging neckline of sleek straps that come to a V at the front, a flowing, floor-length skirt whose ruffles revealed an eye-catching thigh slit, a power blazer that gave a commanding presence and added an air of formality, with thin gold earrings that curve into abstract patterns — a dynamic overall ensemble.
Kate Hudson’s outfit comes from her look at the Fall/Winter 2023 Michael Kors Collection runway show and was previously featured in an Instagram post from the designer as well. The runway show arrived and took the final day of New York Fashion Week by storm. The designer showcased his dynamic and versatile expertise in the field of womenswear.
For those not familiar, Kate Hudson is an American actress and daughter of actress Goldie Hawn and singer Bill Hudson. She made her film debut in the 1998 drama Desert Blue, but it was her role in Cameron Crowe’s music journalism drama Almost Famous that vaulted her to celebrity status.
In the movie, she played Penny Lane, a groupie notorious for following around bands on tour and serving as a muse for various musicians, who becomes the crush of the teenage protagonist and aspiring music journalist William Miller (Patrick Fugit). For her role, she earned an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress and a win at the Golden Globes for the same category.

Kate Hudson has recently been rumored to be joining the MCU, thanks to an interview in which she mentions that she would “have a lot of fun doing a Marvel [movie].” Although this may seem like conjecture, she wouldn’t be the first person in her family to join the MCU, she wouldn’t even be the second. Both her stepfather Kurt Russell and brother Wyatt Russell have appeared in the MCU, the former as Ego in the film Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 2, and the second as John Walker, who had a brief stint as Captain America in the Disney+ series Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
