Julian Sands has been missing since January, and the search remains ongoing.
Actor Julian Sands has been missing since January after disappearing during a hiking trip in Southern California’s Mount Baldy area. While the search for the actor continues, fans are beginning to expect the worst and are taking to Twitter to talk about it. The sheriff’s department has yet to say anything definitive about Sands, but people are still starting to give up hope:
Julian Sands’ wife Eugenia Citkowitz first reported the actor missing on January 13, and inclement weather has stymied the search since then. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department released the news in the days following the disappearance that the Mount Baldy area was experiencing high winds and severe storms while reporting other fatalities. They also released a statement from Sands’ family and said they would continue using their resources to search for the actor:
Unfortunately, even Julian Sands’ brother has given up hope of finding the actor after he went missing in January. Speaking to Craven Herald & Pioneer about the disappearance, he said, “He has not yet been declared missing, presumed dead, but I know in my heart that he has gone.” Meanwhile, fans are pouring out their hope that Sands will be found while also questioning how he’s been gone for so long:

One of the most recent updates about Julian Sands going missing comes from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department public information officer who told PEOPLE that, “we remain hopeful but know the outcome may not be what we would like.” It seems like the department may not be hopeful either, as two months in the unfriendly wilderness is quite a long time for someone to be missing. For now, it seems like fans and officials are less hopeful that they will find Sands alive and that they will continue the search to bring closure to his family:

Other than raising awareness about his going missing, there isn’t too much people can do.
