Johnny Depp is either confident that he is going to win the defamation trial against his ex-wife Amber Heard, or he desperately needed to blow off some steam after that long six-week trial. The actor was shown with guitar in hand at a Jeff Beck concert in England. The pair linked up in the city of Sheffield, where they covered songs from Jimi Hendrix, Marvin Gaye, and a remake of a John Lennon song they wrote together. Clearly, Depp is having some fun on the road, as he is also rumored to be joining Beck on his two stops at Royal Albert Hall on May 30th and 31st. You can see a bit of his performance below:

In the above video, Johnny Depp is signing “Little Wing” which is a song that was made famous by the legendary guitarist and singer, Jimi Hendrix. Depp takes vocal duties as Jeff Beck plays the guitar solo behind him. Quite honestly, the guitarist has a good singing voice. Fans in the crowd were elated to see Depp rocking the guitar alongside his long-time collaborator, and they also noticed the actor had much lighter dyed hair, which is different from his time in front of the cameras during the trial.

The defamation trial that Johnny Depp has been engaged in has been grueling, as both his and Amber Heard’s personal lives were showcased to the media and the world these past six weeks. Right now, the jury is deliberating on a decision. Should Depp win the case, he is meant to rake in $50 million dollars, but if they side with Heard, she will net $100 million from her ex-husband. Both their personal and marital lives were showcased in detail, so it has been a bit tough to see. However, someone is meant to “win” this case. There is no telling how long it will take the jury to deliberate, and today is a holiday that most have off, so the jury’s deliberation might begin again tomorrow.

Johnny Depp did begin his career as a musician, long before he made his acting debut in The Nightmare on Elm Street. He also formed a rock band in 2015, called the Hollywood Vampires. This group contained Joe Perry from Aerosmith and Alice Cooper. Both men have been rock and roll figures for decades. The band released two albums, with their most recent album being released in 2019. The album is called Rise. It is likely that they had to stop making music due to Depp’s ongoing issues with Amber Heard. This is just speculation, but it could be true due to the timelines matching up.

Whatever the case may be, it sounds like Johnny Depp is just trying to live his best life right now. Regardless of the outcome of the trial, both parties are set to appeal the decision should they lose the case. This is the typical thing that happens in trials, especially those that result in hefty amounts of money to be paid. Keep your eyes peeled this week for reports about the jury’s decision. And if you’re in England, go catch Depp rocking out with Jeff Beck at Royal Albert Hall.
