Joey King is one of the fastest rising stars in Hollywood and for good reason. For one thing, she has been doing it for quite a while; she got her first film with an uncredited part as Adam Sandler’s daughter in the 2007 drama Reign Over Me, and she has been working hard ever since. For another, she has a style and a look that is constantly, overwhelmingly gorgeous. Joey King recently posted a photo spread of herself on her very active Instagram account, and it just has to be seen to be believed. Check it out:
This particular photo set from Joey King is courtesy of a cover article from Allure Magazine, and there is absolutely no question why she is there. The first photo in the set is an extreme close-up of Joey King’s face, focused on her blue-green eyes; she is heavily made-up in a 1970s-inspired look, with thick layers of teal and sky-blue makeup above ridiculously thick artificial eyelashes. The whole image is ethereal in tone, accentuated by Joey King’s dreamy expression and faraway gaze.
The second photo in Joey King’s set is a full-body shot of the actress wearing an incredible outfit. Starting from the floor up, she is wearing psychedelically-colored platform boots, with beaded straps that reach all the way up to her knees. She is wearing a very short, tightly-knit neon teal miniskirt, cinched around her waist with a mustard yellow belt. Above that, Joey King is wearing a knit zip-up sweater in pale blue that theoretically should be very modest but is too tight to really qualify as anything but jaw-dropping. Her outfit is accentuated by her playful pose, kicking up one booted foot and teasing her auburn hair (credited to hairstylist Kevin Ryan) with one hand.
Joey King’s third photo in the set is another close-up. This time, she has a focused gaze towards the camera, with her hair falling over her shoulders. Her lips are made up in a pale pink rose, while her eyes are dramatically framed by thick dark lines, credited to makeup artist Benjamin Puckey. While this picture is too close-up to see her full outfit, other videos from the photoshoot indicate she is wearing a black vinyl raincoat with toggles over a blue top.
The third and sadly final picture in the set has Joey King in another dramatic pose, tossing her auburn hair wildly about herself with a serene gaze to the distance. She is wearing a lavender knit go-go dress that tries to cover her legs and has sleeves that cover her hands but not her pale shoulders.
All in all, a pretty amazing set of photos from Joey King. She recently starred in the Hulu fantasy action film The Princess and has been on a press tour for the upcoming action comedy film Bullet Train. In Bullet Train, she plays a British assassin disguised as a school girl attempting to kill Brad Pitt while killers played by the likes of Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, Bad Bunny, and Zazie Beetz try to do the same.
