See Jeremy Renner Driving A Massive Snow Plow, Prior To His Accident
A video on Jeremy Renner's Instagram from the end of 2021 shows him driving a snow plow; perhaps the same vehicle from his recent accident.
As we previously reported, MCU actor Jeremy Renner is in “critical but stable condition” following an accident with a snow plow. Just one year ago, the performer shared a video to his Instagram account, which you can see below, that shows him behind the wheel of a giant piece of snow removal equipment, leading us to question whether this could be the machine that caused his accident. His caption further drives our speculation, as it seems as though his latest tussle with the elements was a regular occurrence for him and his family when they stayed at their home in Mt. Rose-Ski Tahoe.
In his caption, Jeremy Renner quipped that he has a deep “respect for Mother Nature,” adding that while he knows he’ll always “lose the fight,” he’ll give it all he’s got. With his recent accident in mind, the post is a grim reminder of just how quickly weather and machines can turn against any one of us. And the now eerie pictures just keep on coming.
Another Instagram post from just eight weeks ago reveals the Hawkeye actor posing in front of more road equipment, with several trucks and machines at a standstill behind him. While this post was not weather related, with Jeremy Renner teasing the arrival of a new renovation series set to land in 2023, it’s certainly unsettling to see the performer in the ice and snow surrounded by large pieces of equipment.
While fans have been flocking to show their support and well wishes for The Hurt Locker star to make a speedy and full recovery, one Twitter subscriber woke up and chose chaos. Currently making its way around the internet, in a tweet that you can see above, someone used footage from an accident in Arizona, claiming that it was in fact Jeremy Renner being airlifted to the hospital. In poor taste, the video is actually an airlift gone horribly wrong that depicts the injured woman inside spinning and spinning as she’s saved from the harsh and unforgiving Arizona desert.
Not much is known surrounding the facts of Jeremy Renner’s accident, but as was first reported by Deadline, the actor was involved in a snow-plowing accident that resulted in him being airlifted to a nearby hospital. The event happened after the Lake Tahoe area — a location famous for its record-breaking snowfall — was hit by a winter storm on New Year’s Eve. By the time the storm had blown its worst, 35,000 homes across several counties had lost power.
A staple in the MCU, Jeremy Renner is perhaps best known for his role as Avengers member Hawkeye, a part that has seen him star in several of the franchise’s films and even land his own Marvel and Disney+ series, aptly titled Hawkeye. He’ll soon be teaming up with the streamer again on the previously mentioned renovation series, cheekily titled Rennervations. Meanwhile, 2022 saw the renewal of his crime thriller series, Mayor of Kingstown, a Taylor Sheridan-created production that will return for its second season in 2023.
We’ll be keeping you up to date as more news from Jeremy Renner’s unfortunate accident unfolds. At this time, our thoughts are with Renner and his family – cheering him on for a full and speedy recovery.
