See Jeremy Renner Recovering From Horrible Accident With Inspiring Workout Video
Jeremy Renner shares an inspiring workout video on his Instagram Stories after a life-threatening accident with a snow plow.
After breaking over 30 bones and suffering blunt chest trauma in a horrible snow plow accident on New Year’s Day, Jeremy Renner is doing “whatever it takes” to recover from his injuries. The 52-year-old actor shared an Instagram Story showing his current workout routine that will help him recover from the incident and, hopefully, return to his current projects as soon as possible.
In the video, Jeremy Renner sits on an exercise bike in a very comfortable-looking pair of gray sweatpants and a blue sweatshirt. He uses a pole-like tool to assist one leg in pedaling the bike. The Hawkeye star captioned the story with the inspirational message of “Whatever it takes.”
Jeremy Renner also used his Instagram Stories to remind his fans of the importance of the mind-body connection. The next slide shares the personal development book the actor is currently reading, The Book of Awakening, by Mark Nepo.
On January 1, Jeremy Renner was helping his adult nephew get his truck out of the snow by using a snow plow. When The Avengers actor noticed the plow drifting towards his nephew, he tried to divert the machine and ended up being dragged under its tracks. Renner was airlifted to the hospital, where he spent 17 days recovering under the doctor’s watchful eye.
While Jeremy Renner has been able to return to his home, he is far from fully recovered. The actor is undergoing grueling physical therapy and sharing his progress with fans on social media. In addition to sharing his recovery journey, Renner is also promoting his most recent projects, Mayor of Kingstown, which is currently airing on Paramount+, and Rennervations, which will soon release on Disney+.
Despite the nearly fatal accident, Jeremy Renner has continued to stay busy with work. Mayor of Kingstown Season 2 premiered two weeks after Renner’s accident, and though the season completed filming last fall, Renner continued to promote the series while recovering from his injuries. The crime thriller series follows the McLusky family, who are power brokers in Kingstown, Michigan. The show deals with themes of systemic racism, corruption, and inequality, and was created by Yellowstone co-creator Taylor Sheridan.
Rennervations is Jeremy Renner’s upcoming Disney+ documentary series. The new show will follow Renner as he travels the world and helps communities reconceptualize unusual purpose-built vehicles. While the series was delayed to allow time for Renner to fully recover, the actor has updated anxiously awaiting fans via social media that the show is still coming just as soon as he is up on his feet again.
Hopefully, Jeremy Renner will be back to work sooner than we know it. According to Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly, the actor is making a miraculous recovery. The Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania stars have been in contact with the actor and say that Renner is able to move around in his wheelchair and is laughing with friends.
Healing 30-plus broken bones is no joke, and for Jeremy Renner to be up and laughing while he’s on the mend is pretty impressive. Hopefully, he’ll be completely healed and back on the sound stage in no time.
