The Top Gun: Maverick star was at the festival for the premiere of her new film Bad Behaviour, but nobody could call the outfit that she and stylist Leslie Fremar chose for the event bad. Jennifer Connelly has been known for her on-screen beauty for decades and a look like this definitely reminds us why.
Jennifer Connelly’s Sundance outfit consists of a long-sleeved black turtleneck with small gold accents around the shoulders, paired with a high-waisted olive green mini-skirt. Bad Behaviour is the debut full-length feature film by writer/director Alice Englert, who is best known for acting in the 1960s-based coming-of-age drama Ginger & Rosa alongside Elle Fanning, and appearing in The Power of the Dog, the Academy Award Winner for Best Picture in 2021, which starred Benedict Cumberbatch, Kirsten Dunst, Jesse Plemons, and Kodi Smit-McPhee.
In Bad Behaviour, Jennifer Connelly stars as a former child actress attending an intense spiritual retreat run by a charismatic leader played by Ben Whishaw, which definitely sounds like there is a decent chance that all could turn into a psycho cult drama at any moment. Jennifer Connelly also has to navigate her fraught relationship with her stunt performer daughter, played by Alice Englert herself.
Most recently, Jennifer Connelly starred in the massively huge blockbuster sequel Top Gun: Maverick along with Tom Cruise and Miles Teller, portraying Penny Benjamin, the rekindled love interest of Pete “Maverick” Mitchell. It was recently announced that Snowpiercer’s fourth and final season would not be aired by Warner Bros. Discovery in any form, despite it reportedly being entirely completed. This goes in hand with the company’s recent cancelation and shelving of numerous finished projects, allegedly to use them as tax claims. Jennifer Connelly deserves better, but at least she’s looking fantastic on the red carpet.
