Jackass Star Bam Margera Has Been Hospitalized
Bam Margera has been in the news plenty with him constantly escaping treatment facilities he seems to have been frequenting the past six months. However, more bad news has struck the Jackass star, as Margera has now been hospitalized with a severe case of pneumonia. This severe case of pneumonia has been brought on by complications from COVID-19 and has resulted in the professional skater being placed on a ventilator, which is not good at all.
Bam Margera is currently hospitalized in San Diego and is in stable condition in the hospital’s ICU unit. When he arrived at the hospital, he was placed on a ventilator, and then tested positive for COVID-19. The good news is that his condition is stable, and we hope that his condition stays that way.
Though we are not doctors here, we know that once a person has been placed on a ventilator after contracting COVID-19, the chances are that things have become quite serious for that person’s health. We truly hope that Bam Margera can make it out of the hospital, and it helps to give the man a new lease on life. Margera has been struggling with drug and alcohol addiction for quite some time as well, which we are sure might be heightening his health battles currently.
Bam Margera had been placed in a recovery program, where he had to spend a year to bounce back from his deep drug and alcohol addiction issues. However, while he was in recovery, he had apparently met a lawyer that claimed he could get Bam out of the program, resulting in the “Free Bam” movement. This social media movement began to gain traction, which resulted in Bam’s family stepping in to tell his fans to stop driving this social media moving forward, as it was damaging Bam’s road to recovery.
Bam Margera was then placed in a conservatorship by his family similar to Britney Spears, which further complicated his road to recovery. However, Bam had apparently escaped his conservatorship and was on social media partying it up with many celebrities. We are not sure where he stands in his recovery, but the hope is that his new battle with this severe case of pneumonia is going to ensure that he takes a step back and realizes the damage that could be done to his body.
Bam Margera has lost out on appearing in Jackass 4 because of his addiction issues, which led to a falling out of sorts with the rest of the crew. Margera also settled a lawsuit with the Jackass production for his claims that he was forced to sign papers that guaranteed his sobriety, without a lawyer present. Still, he did appear on the Wild Ride Podcast with Steve-O, where the pair seemed to make amends with one another.
For now, we can all hope that Bam Margera makes it out of the hospital and can find the help that he truly needs. We are all wishing for a speedy recovery, and to see the man back on a skateboard and back with the Jackass crew hurting himself for a laugh.
