The Nashville actress recently took to Instagram to share a photo of herself that was captured during a content day for the upcoming sequel, and she looks absolutely stunning in a bright orange, low-cut blazer.
The eye-popping outfit, which was designed by Christopher John Rogers, is formal yet revealing. The crepe blazer pairs perfectly with her petite body shape. Not many people can rock such a bold get-up, but Hayden Panettiere does it seemingly effortlessly.
Although the Heroes actress isn’t nearly as active on social media as stars like Kate Beckinsale or Jennifer Lopez, her posts always seem to get people talking. The upcoming slasher sequel with mark the star’s first onscreen role since 2018. Hayden Panettiere is set to reprise her role as Kirby Reed from 2011’s Scream 4. The funny and intelligent character was thought to have been killed, but a blink-and-miss-it easter egg in last year’s Scream revealed she was very much alive. Fans were in cahoots upon learning the horror movie expert would return in a major role in Scream 6.
The forthcoming sixth installment in the wildly popular horror franchise will follow the survivors of the Ghostface killings as they leave Woodsboro behind and start a fresh chapter in New York City. In addition to Hayden Panettiere, the film stars Melissa Barrera, Jenny Ortega, Courtney Cox, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding, Devyn Nekoda, Jack Champion, Dermot Mulroney, Samara Weaving, and Tony Revolori. The highly anticipated movie is scheduled to arrive in theaters on March 10.
Sadly, Scream 6 will mark the first film in the series without Neve Campbell, who has starred as Sidney Prescott in every entry beginning with the 1996’s Scream. The actress was displeased with what the studio offered to pay her, so she opted to pass on a role in the movie. The good news is that Hayden Panettiere will reportedly receive much more screen time in the sequel to make up for Neve’s absence.
