See Hailee Steinfeld Elevate Denim To High Fashion
Hailee Steinfeld may have just made denim the hottest fashion trend this summer.
Hailee Steinfeld is hitting a bulls-eye in her latest Instagram post. Showing up and spreading the word for her latest Marvel-based movie, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, the Hawkeye star shared a brand new look on her social media account. The image, which you can see below, is a mix of formal and casual with the actress wearing a long, black skirt against a button-up denim shirt.
Adding some glam to the outfit, Hailee Steinfeld’s skirt has a long slit down the middle of it, revealing a pair of high heels, while a pattern of silver dots the garment to make it all the more eye-catching. As much of a closet staple as it is, the denim shirt perfectly compliments the more formal tone set out by the bottom half, gussying it up from casual to formal. Although she gives a shout-out to Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse in her caption, it’s unclear whether the Edge of Seventeen star was on her way to the red carpet premiere or just pushing the title on her own time.
As we know, Marvel actors are a very supportive bunch with the entire gang typically showing up for one another’s premieres and singing their praises when new titles make it to the big screen. Hailee Steinfeld and the rest of her MCU peers will soon have a lot of premiere parties to go to and red carpets to walk as the studio has a slew of new content coming out over the next few years and beyond.
Along with Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, this summer will see the arrival of the Disney+ and Marvel series, Secret Invasion, which will feature the return of Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury, and will also feature Emilia Clarke in her MCU debut. While no specific dates have been set, the second season of Loki is also around the corner, along with Echo, a spin-off born from the Hailee Steinfeld-led series, Hawkeye. Other small-screen projects that fans can expect to appear during Phase 5 are Agatha: Coven of Chaos, Ironheart, and the highly-anticipated Daredevil: Born Again.
Although her voice will be heard as Gwen Stacy/Spider-Gwen in Across the Spider-Verse, and her Hawkeye personality may make an appearance in Echo, it’s unclear when Hailee Steinfeld’s character, Kate Bishop, will pop up again. Along with the multitude of shows, there are plenty of opportunities for Kate’s story to continue in films including Captain America: New World Order, Thunderbolts, Blade, and even Deadpool 3 or the upcoming The Marvels. When it comes to the MCU, you just never know when your favorite hero will make a life-saving cameo.
As for her world beyond Marvel, it’s unclear what the Academy and BAFTA-nominated star has up her sleeves next. In the past, she’s dazzled audiences in almost every genre imaginable, proving her range as a well-rounded performer. From thrillers to dramas and comedies, there’s nothing that Hailee Steinfeld can’t completely land.
