See Gal Gadot Try On Different Sexy Outfits In New Video
Gal Gadot breaks her streak of chill Instagram posts to dance playfully in different outfits in a new video.
Gal Gadot has been pretty relaxed in her Instagram updates as of late–e.g. lounging while promoting mac and cheese, or just meditating with milk nearby–but now she’s gloriously broken her streak of chill with a fun video made to the tune of “Despechá” by the Spanish singer Rosalía. Gadot tries on three different outfits that feel like three different chances to get ready for the fall.
The Red Notice star starts off in a comfortable looking zebra print outfit that both looks loose while still accentuating her form. With the snap of her fingers Gal Gadot changes into a seafoam green pantsuit with a cute scarf trailing down the front. Finally, she shifts into a sexy goldenrod minidress, and back into the original zebra print.
Gal Gadot’s fun new video comes a week after the premiere of the first trailer for her upcoming Netflix action thriller Heart of Stone. The feature will see Gadot playing CIA agent Rachel Stone. The plot is being kept under wraps so far but the first teaser includes clips of interviews with Gadot and her co-stars, who describe an action movie with a grand scale, but with tangible and relatable characters.
Joining Gal Gadot in Heart of Stone are Jamie Dornan (Fifty Shades of Grey), Alia Bhatt (Highway), Sophie Okonedo (The Secret Life of Bees), Matthias Schweighöfer (Army of Thieves), Jing Lusi (Crazy Rich Asians), Paul Ready (The Terror), and Archie Madekwe (Midsommar).
Heart of Stone is directed by Tom Harper (The Aeronauts) from a script by Allison Schroeder (Hidden Figures) and Greg Rucka (The Old Guard). And really it’s about time Rucka and Gal Gadot collaborated on a film project. Ironically, while this is the first time Rucka will write a film that Gadot stars in, one of the author’s bigger claims to fame is his influential work on Wonder Woman.
Along with the 2002 original graphic novel Wonder Woman: The Hiketeia, Rucka wrote DC’s main Wonder Woman title from 2003 to 2006, as well as in events such as Infinite Crisis.
With Gal Gadot’s star continuing to rise, you could argue that her collaboration with Greg Rucka was inevitable. Particularly when it comes to his creator-owned work, Rucka is known for focusing on strong female protagonists; including The Old Guard which was adapted by Netflix with Charlize Theron in the lead role. He’s also one of the creators of the Kate Kane Batwoman and–while he didn’t have a hand in her creation–contributed quite a bit in popularizing the Batman mythos character Renee Montoya.
As for when we can see Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman on the screen instead of just on the page, we still don’t have solid info. While we know the actress plans to return for Wonder Woman 3, there’s nothing concrete about a release date. At the very least, however, recent reports have pointed to Gadot starring as her signature character in multiple DCEU films.
