See Gal Gadot Pose Thoughtfully Next To Milk
Gal Gadot posts a contemplative shot of herself on Instagram, taken by acclaimed photographer Dudi Hasson.
Sometimes you just have to sit with your milk and think about something intensely. At least, that’s what Gal Gadot is doing in one of her most recent social media posts. Uploaded to her official Instagram account over the weekend, the photo finds the Wonder Woman star very contemplative next to a glass of fresh dairy.
What could Gal Gadot be thinking in the image? Maybe “I wonder if Wonder Woman would be lactose intolerant in real life.”Or perhaps, “Are they really going to make me work with Ezra Miller again?”
In truth, Gal Gadot probably doesn’t care about the milk but is rather taking the opportunity to work with acclaimed photographer Dudi Hasson. She tagged the photographer’s Instagram in the caption, where you can find his work with other noted actresses and models like Leandra, Malgosia Bela, and Shira Haas. In fact, scroll down far enough and you’ll find the 2020 cover of Vanity Fair that Hasson took with Gadot, as well as one of the interior shots featuring the Justice League star spending time with a gorgeous white Borzoi.
Of course, Gal Gadot is no stranger to the world of modeling, fashion, and photography. Long before most movie fans got to know her as Gisele in 2009’s Fast & Furious, the future DC Comics superhero won the 2004 Miss Israel beauty pageant, and was featured as a model in Maxim as well as on the cover of the New York Post. Once she got bit by the movie bug, however, she clearly had no intention of leaving.
Gal Gadot’s next big action feature wrapped principal photography at the end of July, and Netflix released the first official trailer for the spy action thriller over the weekend. Directed by Tom Harper (The Aeronauts) from a script by Greg Rucka (The Old Guard) and Allison Schroeder (Hidden Figures), Netflix’s Heart of Stone will feature Gadot as CIA agent Rachel Stone. Clips of interviews with Gadot and co-stars Jamie Dornan (Fifty Shades of Grey) and Alia Bhatt (RRR)–as well as behind the scenes shots–are inserted along with presumably finished shots from the film.
According to the stars, the filmmakers’ goal with Heart of Stone was to make a film with a grand scale, but at the same time with grounded, believable characters. Gal Gadot says she wanted the action to be “realistic” so that the audience can “feel the pain” the heroes endure. So far it sounds and looks something not too far from Matt Damon‘s Bourne films (minus, from the looks of it, the memory loss).
Along with the talent already mentioned, Gal Gadot will be joined in Heart of Stone by Sophie Okonedo (Hotel Rwanda), Matthias Schweighöfer (Army of the Dead), Jing Lusi (Crazy Rich Asians), Paul Ready (The Terror), Archie Madekwe (See), and Jon Kortajarena (A Single Man). There’s no specific release date for the thriller yet, though it’s currently set to stream on Netflix in 2023.
