See Gal Gadot Squeeze Into A Latex Dress
While promoting Netflix's Heart of Stone, Gal Gadot post pics of some of her more recent incredible outfits.
Gal Gadot is coming off a massive weekend at Netflix’s Tudum fan event, where she launched the trailer for her new Netflix spy action thriller, Heart of Stone. To commemorate the occasion, which took place in Sao Paulo, Brazil, between June 16 and 18, the actress shared some of the outfits she wore to each glamorous outing.
In a carousel of images on Instagram, Gal Gadot is seen in a two-piece suit-style outfit featuring a halter neck top and a black velvet midi-dress. The photo that made the biggest splash showcases the Wonder Woman star in a black latex dress with matching cuffs on her wrists. She completed the goth-like look with a sleek hairdo and bold red lipstick.
Gal Gadot was previously spotted in the latex ensemble in a photo with Arnold Schwarzenegger. The legendary action movie star announced a second season of his hit Netflix show FUBAR at the event. Created by Nick Santora, the story follows CIA operative Luke Brunner, who is tasked with finding a missing agent who turns out to be his daughter.
Meanwhile, Gal Gadot says she’s ready to move on after the cancellation of Wonder Woman 3 as she has other projects in the works. “To me, starting and developing stories that I’m passionate about is an incredible thing. The fact that I don’t have to sit still at home and just wait for the next offer is something that makes me feel empowered. I enjoy doing it; it keeps me alive,” she told Games Radar.
Continuing the sentiment, Gal Gadot said she will still work as an actress-for-hire. However, she enjoys the freedom to tell the stories that deeply resonate with her. “The fact that I can go ahead and tell the stories that I’m passionate about from ideas that I conceived or from ideas that I find fascinating from people that want to partner with us – it’s an incredible thing,” she continued.
Gal Gadot gained global recognition for her portrayal of Diana Prince/Wonder Woman in 2016’s Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. Her solo Wonder Woman film in 2017, directed by Patty Jenkins, not only garnered critical acclaim but also played a pivotal role in revitalizing the DC Extended Universe on the silver screen.
The movie received rave reviews and a worldwide box office gross of $822 million. However, the 2020 sequel, Wonder Woman 1984, received mixed reactions from critics and audiences due to its lackluster storyline and faced challenges in generating profits due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. The studio still went ahead with plans for a third movie, which was ultimately scrapped.
While reports indicate that the new management at DC Studios did not have a role in dropping the project, James Gunn hinted that Gal Gadot could make a DC comeback. Adding fuel to the suggestion, the actress told the press as Tudum that there have been behind-the-scenes discussions about the film. “Things are being worked behind the scenes, and once the right moment arrives, you’ll know about it.”
For now, Gal Gadot stars in Heart of Stone, where she takes on the role of Rachel Stone, a CIA agent assigned a dangerous mission to safeguard a cryptic object called The Heart. But Rachel has secrets of her own which makes her job more difficult. The movie premieres on Netflix on August 11.
Gal Gadot also made a cameo appearance as Gisele Yashar in Fast X and was spotted as Wonder Woman making in Shazam! Fury of the Gods and The Flash. Her next project is the musical fantasy film Snow White which will hit theaters in 2024. The actress has been cast as the Evil Queen.
