See Gal Gadot Covered In Roses
In her most recent instagram post, Gal Gadot celebrates Valentine's Day after receiving a gorgeous bouquet of roses.
Gal Gadot is celebrating Valentine’s Day away from her husband, real estate developer Jaron Varsano this year. In honor of their 15-year marriage, the Wonder Woman star shared a heartfelt message alongside two sweet photos. The first shows the actress holding a massive bouquet of roses while the second is a candid snap of the couple.
“We’re spending Valentine’s Day apart, which in a funny way makes me appreciate everything we have even more,” Gal Gadot wrote on Instagram. “You’re my one, my only, my everything. Life is too short together.”
The 37-year-old concluded the post by writing “I love you” in Hebrew. The couple, who were married in 2008, are parents to three young daughters.
Gal Gadot first found fame when she was crowned Miss Israel in 2004. After serving in her country’s Defense Force as a combat fitness instructor for two years, she began studying at IDC Herzliya while building her acting career. Her first major role came in 2009’s Fast & Furious where she portrayed Gisele Yashar.
She reprised the role in 2011’s Fast Five and Fast & Furious 6 in 2013.
Despite landing a role in the popular Vin Diesel franchise, Gal Gadot only became a household name after she was cast as Diana Prince in the DC Universe films. Released in 2017, the first Wonder Woman movie was a massive success, earning $821.8 million at the global box office. Chronicling the character’s origin story, the movie filled a void for fans who wanted a female-led superhero film.
A sequel was released in late 2020. But unlike its predecessor, Wonder Woman 1984 received mixed reviews from critics who praised its escapist qualities. However, most found the entire story to be slightly overindulgent.
Since then, Gal Gadot has starred in the 2021 Netflix action-comedy film Red Notice and the 2022 mystery film Death on the Nile.
Although her tenure as Wonder Woman seems to be over, due to James Gunn and Peter Safran’s decimation of the DC Snyderverse, Gal Gadot has a few new projects in the works. The first is Heart of Stone, a spy action thriller directed by Tom Harper. Written by Greg Rucka and Allison Schroeder, the movie also stars Jamie Dornan and Alia Bhatt.
The story follows Rachel Stone (Gal Gadot), a CIA agent who is the only person standing between her powerful, global, peace-keeping organization and the loss of its most valuable and dangerous asset. Production took place in Italy, London, Reykjavík, and Lisbon in 2022. The film is scheduled to be released by Netflix on August 11.
Gal Gadot is also set to portray the Evil Queen in the upcoming Snow White musical fantasy film. Directed by Marc Webb, from a screenplay by Greta Gerwig and Erin Cressida Wilson, the movie is a live-action adaptation of Disney’s 1937 animated film. Loosely based on the 1812 Brothers Grimm fairy tale, the project sees Rachel Zegler as Snow White.
Snow White, starring Gal Gadot, will hit cinemas on March 22, 2024. As of 2022, the movie remains unopposed by any wide releases, Deadline previously reported.
