Fast And Furious Star Upset Diddy Is In Jail

In a day and age when most celebrities have been sprinting as far away as humanly possible from their connections to Sean “Diddy” Combs, Bow Wow has seemingly gone all-in for his admiration of the disgraced Bad Boy Records producer. In a recent appearance on the More to the Story podcast, the rapper and The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift star admitted there has been a bit of a “hole” in the hip-hop community with Diddy currently in jail awaiting his trial.

Diddy was arrested on September 16 and subsequently charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution in what the Justice Department is calling a deliberate attempt to use his business empire to commit his alleged crimes.

Bow Wow Is In Shock Over Diddy

As more and more details emerge relating to Diddy’s alleged crimes, a dark cloud has hung over Hollywood, with many celebrities, including Jay-Z, Beyonce, and Leonardo DiCaprio, attempting to distance themselves from their association with the music mogul. But it appears that Bow Wow never received the Diddy memo as he joined the More to the Story podcast, using his appearance to essentially eulogize his former idol. “I never thought I would see it like this,” Bow Wow said.

Misses The Party Scene

Looking back on the last month, Bow Wow said Diddy’s absence was abundantly obvious around the party scene. “He’s like the gatekeeper to the game, to the point to where BET Award weekend, like the past two, it just didn’t feel right because there was no motion, there was no parties,” he revealed. The 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards, which recognizes the best in hip-hop music of 2024, was taped in Las Vegas, Nevada, on October 8 and broadcast on BET on October 15.

As Bow Wow continued to speak about Diddy, he couldn’t help but notice the impact that his arrest had on the entire hip-hop community, referring to how “monumental” and “important” Diddy is. Bow Wow then spoke about his mentor and frequent Diddy collaborator Jermaine Dupri, complaining that the overall mood has been diminished recently because there “was no parties.”

Another Week, Another Set Of Lawsuits

On October 14, Diddy faced yet another wave of lawsuits, with six new accusers claiming that the embattled record producer raped, abused, and assaulted them, with the lawsuits alleging that the attacks took place between 1995 and as recent as 2021. The six new lawsuits were filed in New York federal court by four men and two women, whose identities will not be disclosed. According to the most recent accusers, many of the crimes that were reportedly committed by Diddy occurred during his infamous parties, which were attended by celebrities and other powerful figures.

The Heinous Allegations

According to the unsealed indictment filed by the Justice Department, many of the parties that Diddy hosted included “Freak Offs,” which have been described as elaborate adult performances that Diddy arranged, directed, and even recorded. In the indictment, investigators claim that the “Freak Offs” would sometimes last multiple days and often involved multiple people that Diddy had drugged to maintain control over.

Bow Wow Misses A Man Who Was Never Real

Although Bow Wow has attended Diddy parties in the past, there has yet to be evidence presented that proves that he was in attendance during any of the alleged “Freak Offs” or that he committed any illegal acts involved in the criminal investigation. For now, it simply appears that Bow Wow misses a man that he once looked up to. “He was everything hip-hop. So for that to die out, you just really never thought. Especially when you look at somebody as somebody you studied, somebody you idolized,” Bow Wow said.
