See Erin Moriarty Fail Spectacularly At Hiking

Erin Moriarty is not good at hiking.

Sometimes you have to work to get to those stunning vistas at the end of a hike, and The Boys star Erin Moriarty found that out during her recent outdoor adventure. Moriarty took to Instagram to share her struggle-hike, as she attempted to scale an admittedly steep incline. Fortunately, it seemed like she was able to summon some of that Starlight energy and make it to the top.

While that hike looks strenuous, hopefully, Erin Moriarty gets plenty of time to rest and relax after completing filming on Season 4 of the hit Amazon Prime Video series The Boys. Showrunner Eric Kripke took to Twitter a couple of weeks ago to announce that filming for the season has wrapped, so fingers crossed that we’ll get an official release date announced sooner than later. Erin Moriarty, of course, will be reprising her role as Annie January aka Starlight in the upcoming season.

Along with Erin Moriarty, other returning cast members include Jack Quaid as Hughie, Antony Starr as Homelander, Karl Urban as Billy Butcher, Karen Fukuhara as Kimiko, Tomer Kapon as Frenchie, Laz Alonso as MM, Chace Crawford as the Deep, and Jessie T. Usher as A-Train. Cameron Crovetti was also upgraded to series regular, so we should be seeing a lot more of Homelander’s son. Nathan Mitchell will also be returning as Black Noir despite the events of the last season, but apparently, he will be playing a different version of the character.

Along with the returning regulars like Erin Moriarty, there are also some new exciting additions to the cast that should shake things up. Rosemarie DeWitt is joining the cast as Hughie’s mom while Simon Pegg once again returns as Hughie’s dad. Supernatural‘s Jeffrey Dean Morgan and John Benedict, along with Elliot Knight, will also be joining the cast in undisclosed roles.

As for new Supes, we’ll be seeing Susan Heyward as Sister Sage and Valorie Curry join the cast. Perhaps we’ll see them join the Seven after last season saw Erin Moriarty’s Starlight and Dominique McElligott’s Queen Maeve leaving the superhero team. We’re also still waiting to find out if we can expect to see Jensen Ackles return as Solider Boy and Giancarlo Esposito return as Stan Edgar in the new season.

While we wait to hear more about the upcoming season of The Boys, we can look forward to some of Erin Moriarty’s other upcoming projects. Moriarty has two movies on the horizon, both with release dates set for 2023. The first is the film Catching Dust, which follows a criminal husband and wife in a trailer, whose situation is complicated when another couple in a trailer arrives.

Catching Dust is set for a June 2023 release and also stars Jai Courtney, Dina Shihabi, Ryan Corr, Olwen Fouere, and Gary Fannin. Erin Moriarty’s other upcoming film is True Haunting, which tells the story of the first televised exorcism on NBC in 1971, as well as its aftermath. There is no solid release date for this film yet, but Erin Moriarty stars alongside Stranger Things star Jamie Campbell Bower.
