Elon Musk And Mark Zuckerberg Are Going To Fight Each Other In A Cage Match
Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg agreed on social media to take their beef to the canvas in a Las Vegas cage fight.
In a piece of news that you’re certain we’re getting wrong, Deadline reports that Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg are taking their rage straight to a cage. The two have agreed to step out from behind their computer screens and leave their offices to duke it out inside a cage. May the best worst man win!
The feud between the moguls has been gaining steam day after day as they’ve hurled insults at one another from their respective social media businesses. For Elon Musk, the Tesla founder took to Twitter to challenge Instagram and Facebook owner Mark Zuckerberg to a knock down drag out rumble inside of a cage. While they’ve long been rivals, it was Musk’s post, which said, “I’m up for a cage match if he is” that solidified the battle royale.
Out of the two, Elon Musk is certainly the bulkier one but his challenge came after learning that Mark Zuckerberg had recently taken up jiu-jitsu. After apparently seeing one too many Instagram posts about Zuckerberg’s new sporting venture, Musk had enough and called him into the ring. Not one to stand down from a battle, Zuckerberg said that he was game, writing “Send Me Location” to ruffle his opponent’s feathers. We assure you – this is all very real, and you can see the exchange in the tweet above.
If you thought that the pompous Elon Musk would keep his mouth shut, then you have no idea who the entrepreneur is as he followed up the next day naming the spot as “Vegas Octagon.” Perhaps noting the staggering differences in physique between the two men, Musk went on to write that he had a move called “The Walrus,” which he described as one in which “I just lie on top of my opponent & do nothing.” Clearly not taking Mark Zuckerberg’s recent jiu-jitsu training to heart, Musk is more than confident that he’ll come out on top of the showdown.
In one corner is the founder of SpaceX, Tesla, and Starlink, while in the other is the founder of Meta – which encompasses Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. Not only have both Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg stepped on toes on their way to the top, but they’ve each been long annoying the other as they’re two of the top dogs in the industry. We know that we aren’t the only ones who would love to tune into this cage match, and maybe those holding it could even make some money to be donated to charities that don’t include Meta or Tesla.
Although Elon Musk may be puffing his chest at Mark Zuckerberg, the businessman has found himself in the news for all the wrong reasons this week with his alleged ties to the Titan submarine – the doomed vessel that killed all five on board after imploding while on an excursion to view the legendary Titanic. The craft reportedly used Starlink to handle its communications, and while it’s more than likely that the company isn’t to blame for the catastrophe, Musk will certainly be defending himself in the press over the next few days as the story unfolds.
