The actress, model, and womenswear entrepreneur took to Instagram with a punk rock look as part of the Inner Elton challenge, a social media trend challenging people to post pictures of themselves channeling the pop star and tagging others with a call to do the same. The challenge aims to support the Elton John Aids Foundation.
To show off her inner Elton, Elizabeth Hurley donned black bottoms and a small black t-shirt reading in vibrant pink “The Bitch is Back”, a reference to the opening track of Elton John’s 1974 record Caribou. Her silver, star-shaped sunglasses perfectly echo the flashy fashion of the pop star, matched with glittering, silver thigh-high boots to cap off the retro charm.
Elizabeth Hurley wields a fur coat in hand, her beachy and voluminous hair splashing down her shoulders. The whole look is sexy, care-free, and very rock ‘n’ roll.
Hurley was challenged by her friend, Canadian filmmaker David Furnish. Furnish is the husband of Elton John and chairman of the Elton John Aids Foundation. To keep the challenge going, Elizabeth Hurley tagged her son, Damian Hurley, comedian David Walliams, and actress Suki Waterhouse.
