If someone asked you how to sell a swimwear line, your answer would probably be to take some stunning photos of someone who looks fantastic in the swimsuits. Fortunately for Austin Powers star Elizabeth Hurley, she can pull double duty for her personal swimwear brand and model the swimsuits herself. The star took to Instagram to post a cheeky photo of some of her latest looks, just in time for the weather to get warmer:
Elizabeth Hurley may be relaxing on the beach right now and soaking up the sun, but the actress was fairly busy in 2022. Fans of Hurley could have seen her in not one but two Christmas films near the end of 2022. They were also oddly similar Christmas films, as one was titled Christmas in the Caribbean and the other was Christmas in Paradise.
Of course, these were two different films despite the similarities. Christmas in the Caribbean starred Elizabeth Hurley as a British bride who is left at the altar and decides to spend her honeymoon with her bridesmaids instead. The Philippe Martinez-directed film also stars Nathalie Cox (who co-wrote the script with Martinez), Caroline Quentin, Stephanie Beacham, Downtown Julie Brown, Hadar Cats, Frank Corbie, Edoardo Costa, Danielle Brown, and Winston Crooke.
Meanwhile, Christmas in Paradise follows three sisters who follow their father to the Caribbean to bring him back in time for the holidays. Philippe Martinez also directs this one and co-writes the script with Megan Brown Martinez. Along with Elizabeth Hurley, the film stars Kelsey Grammer, Billy Ray Cyrus, Nathalie Cox, Naomi Frederick, Ray Fearon, Frank Corbie, Ray Fearon, and Victoria Ekanoye.
If you’re weirdly in the mood for two Elizabeth Hurley Christmas movies that are both set in the Caribbean and directed by the same director, you can stream these two movies now. Christmas in Paradise is available to watch on Starz, and you can rent Christmas in the Caribbean on Prime Video or Apple TV+. As for Hurley’s next film, it should be a pretty radical departure from the tropical Christmas theme.
There’s no word on when we can expect to see it, but Elizabeth Hurley has a fantasy horror film coming our way titled The Piper. The Piper follows a mother and daughter that move to a small German town. The town harbors a spirit that punishes people who have gotten away with crimes by taking their children.
This dark twist on the Pied Piper tale is directed by Anthony Waller, who also wrote the screenplay from a story by Duncan Kennedy. Along with Elizabeth Hurley, The Piper stars Mia Jenkins, Jack Stewart, Robert Daws, Alma Rix, and Arben Bajraktaraj. The Hollywood Reporter reported that the film would be sold at the AFM, so we’ll just have to wait to hear more on this one.
Finally, Elizabeth Hurley has recently wrapped filming on a movie called Strictly Confidential, which is directed and written by her son Damian Hurley. The film will be Damian Hurley’s directorial debut. At this time, there’s no official release date for the film.
