Dua Lipa enjoys the sun, literature, and a tiny bikini in a new Instagram post.
From Emma Watson to Reese Witherspoon, many celebrities have gushed about their love of reading. Now, one famous star has shocked fans with a new literary endeavor. According to a recent Instagram post, pop star Dua Lipa has started her own book club through her website Service95 and she broke the news with a picture of herself in a string bikini, reading a book.
Dua Lipa is pictured wearing an ocean blue sequined string bikini to match the ocean she is lounging next to and the book she is holding up. She’s lying on a branch underneath a canopy of trees and rocking a fresh, unadorned face with a gold necklace and multiple hoop earrings. The look is giving effortless and relaxed vibes, with the artist enjoying a book in the sun and the sand on a tropical island.
In the caption for her post, Dua Lipa wrote about the launching of her Service95 Book Club, stating “Reading is an incredibly important part of my life and one of my biggest joys. I’m so excited to start the @service95 Book Club where we can share that joy of discovery with each other.” Although the post was to promote her new Service95 Book Club, fans were floored by her bikini and fairy-tale abs.
Although it’s only May, it feels like Dua Lipa is bringing in the summer reading lists and beach days early and fans are not complaining. Alongside the initial image, she also posted a number of throwback pictures of her at various ages and places with a book in hand, showing her lifelong love of reading. The library is now open, and Dua Lipa is using her clout to encourage people to read.
Dua Lipa founded Service95 in 2022 and has been releasing content and promoting her newsletter since its launch. According to the website, it is a “curation of lists, stories, information, thoughts, perspectives and conversations with a thoroughly global lens.” Alongside the book club and the resources, Lipa is also heading up a podcast called Dua Lipa: At Your Service, where she will interview “some of the world’s most inspiring minds” to inspire listeners to be “more curious about the world” and “be of service.”
Dua Lipa is a British-Albanian singer, songwriter, and model who was born on August 22, 1995, in London, England. Dua Lipa began her music career by posting covers of popular songs on YouTube and gained popularity by releasing her debut single “New Love” in 2015. Her self-titled debut album was released in 2017 and included hit singles such as “IDGAF” and “New Rules.”
Although her music is often seen as fun and danceable pop, Dua Lipa’s fashion sense is often described as edgy and daring. She is known for bold colors, sparkling gowns, statement pieces, and jaw-dropping looks like her recent floral lace showstopper at Milan Fashion Week.
