Diddy Reveals Roughest Part Of Prison Life And It’s Laughable

It’s not exactly a secret that life in prison can be a little rough at times, just ask Sean “Diddy” Combs. The disgraced music mogul has been behind bars since he was arrested on September 16 in a New York hotel on charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, and transportation for purposes of prostitution. But despite the typical frightening aspects of prison that affect countless prisoners across the world, Diddy has recently revealed that it’s not the threat of violence that’s keeping him awake at night, it’s the chicken fajitas at dinner time.

Diddy Struggles With Prison Food

While speaking about Diddy’s time in prison, his attorney Marc Agnifilo told reporters outside of a federal courthouse in Manhattan that the Bad Boys Records CEO is having a rough time adjusting to his new dietary routine. “I think the food’s probably the roughest part of it,” Agnifilo said. With the culinary options apparently driving Diddy bananas, it’s no wonder that he and his legal team have fought tooth and nail to try and get him released on bail.

What Is Diddy Being Served?

As for now, Diddy will continue to remain in prison at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, where, according to People, the heartbreaking breakfast is served to inmates at 6 AM, consisting of cereal, fruit, and a breakfast cake. For lunch, inmates are given standard options such as hamburgers, baked fish, and even beef tacos. To cap off their final meal of the day, hungry prisoners can munch on everything from chicken fajitas to pasta, with heart-healthy and vegetarian options available as well.

Diddy Will Have To Put Up With The Food For Now

In a ruling on October 11, federal appeals court judge William J. Nardini denied Diddy’s release yet again, making it more and more likely that the music producer will remain subjected to prison food until his trial begins on May, 5, 2025.

While Diddy’s latest appeal came up short, Nardini referred the motion to a three-judge panel within the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, offering a glimmer of hope for Diddy. His lawyers have laid out the groundwork for a plan that would have the music mogul released to home detention… at his massive $48 million Florida estate, equipped with his very own personal chef.

Continues To Fight For Bail

Since being confined to prison for nearly a month, Diddy has been denied bail twice, with Judge Andrew L. Carter, Jr. going as far as saying that no amount of bail could guarantee that Diddy would not tamper with witnesses, considering his alleged history of using his position of power to maintain silence from his victims.

On October 8, Diddy’s lawyers filed an appeal with the Second Circuit, stating that the updated conditions of his release would be more than enough in ensuring that he will show up for his trial and remain isolated from any possible witness in his case.

Prison Life

Agnifilo has described Diddy’s prison stay at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center as “very, very difficult” and went as far as saying that his client had endured “inhumane” living conditions. It remains unclear if the dire situation that Agnifilo described also includes the state of the prison food that Diddy has been suffering through at this point.

Regardless of the specifics, Agnifilo said that he told his client that he would be attempting to move up his trial date and “minimize” the amount of time that Diddy spends in prison.
