Fans of the former child star and famous actress Christina Ricci have enjoyed a bit of a renaissance for the last two years with a revisit of one of her most famous characters from The Addams Family and her role in Yellowjackets. Because she is best known for her role as the morbid and curious Wednesday Addams, she has always been associated with the color black, and she regularly owns that look. She recently appeared on the red carpet for the premiere of Season 2 of Yellowjackets and posted an image of her continuing to own the color.
Christina Ricci appeared on the carpet wearing an elegant Kim Jones black floor-length dress with an open back; it was tailored and styled by celebrity couture specialist Neil Lane to show her impressive physique. She also paired it with intricate Martin Katz-designed gold earrings and a simple black velvet Fendi bag, completing the look that made her the talk of the carpet. The 43-year-old actress was sure to let fans know that she had help looking as astounding as she did as she gave a long list of shoutouts to ensure credit was given all around.
She called out two make-up artists for her look. The first was Allan Aendano, who is a prominent celebrity artist that has worked with the likes of Sandra Oh (Grey’s Anatomy and Killing Eve), Samara Weaving (Scream VI and Ready or Not), and Rachel Zegler (Shazam! Fury of the Gods, Snow White, and West Side Story). The second artist she called out was Ruby Vo, who, while less prominent, is a 25-year-old making a splash on runways, sets, and editorials.
Christina Ricci also gave credit for her nude-colored nails to Zola Ganzorigt, a celebrity manicurist based in Los Angeles. She has worked with some of the biggest names on the West Coast as she features models like Kendal Jenner, Kylie Jenner, and Hailey Bieber on her Instagram page. She also works with prominent actresses like Vanessa Hudgens (High School Musical, Spring Breakers, and Journey 2: The Mysterious Island), Millie Bobbie Brown (Stanger Things and Enola Holmes), and Sydney Sweeney (Euphoria, The White Lotus, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood).
The actress had an intricate updo that was accomplished by a frequent collaborator Mark Hampton, who has worked with Christina Ricci on numerous occasions. He got her dolled up and camera ready for not just the Yellowjackets Season 2 premiere but also for her appearances on Live with Kelly and Ryan and The View.
