See Carmen Electra In Nothing But A Sexy Pink Blazer
Carmen Electra posed for VULKAN magazine in just a hot pink blazer, adding to her long list of modeling accolades.
Former Baywatch beauty Carmen Electra turned 50 this year, and she’s joined the ever-growing collection of stars defying Hollywood standards on age. One of her recent Instagram postings is similar to a recent Elizabeth Hurley photoshoot, featuring a traditional masculine outfit with a twist fit for a grown woman. The dancer, model, and actress is enjoying a career resurgence, acting as her own boss as she seeks to create a media brand that is only hers, and supported by her fans.
Carmen Electra is all dolled up for VULKAN magazine’s year-ending Pink issue, which featured the star on the cover and in a special photo shoot inside the anniversary issue. An up-and-coming fashion magazine, VULKAN tries to promote modern designers, photographers, models, and fashion content creators. The gorgeous singer has graced over 100 magazine covers, including three Playboy covers, starting in 1996, and was the featured model five times.
One year after posing in Playboy, Carmen Electra had her breakout role as Lani McKenzie in Baywatch, which was short-lived, only lasting one season, but has embedded the star as a sex symbol for nearly 30 years. Abandoning scripted roles for a little while, Electra took over for Jenny McCarthy on MTV’s Singled Out, letting the actress’ bubbly personality and surprisingly quick wit be displayed on national TV for the first time. While her professional life was taking off, the star’s personal life fell apart.
In 1998, Carmen Electra married NBA star Dennis Rodman at a drive-thru chapel in Las Vegas. For those that were not old enough to live through 1998/1999, the celebrity couple was everywhere at the time, on tabloid covers, leading entertainment news almost every night; and thanks to Rodman being a star on the NBA Champion Chicago Bulls, even sports fans watching ESPN were not spared the latest buzz around the couple. The pair were eventually arrested on mutual domestic battery charges, which were eventually dropped, and the couple broke up.
Carmen Electra’s second most famous relationship came in 2003 with Jane’s Addiction singer Dave Navarro, which was immortalized in the MTV reality series, ‘Til Death Do Us Part: Carmen and Dave, which followed their courtship, engagement, and wedding. Getting married on a reality TV program and letting cameras follow you around for months is always a good idea and tends to result in strong, long-lasting marriages. Just kidding … the couple divorced in early 2007.
Today, Carmen Electra is working on a career as a social media influencer and model and is establishing a brand only for her fans. The star loves the new opportunities she has, after over 30 years in the public eye, saying “I, for once, have this opportunity to be my own boss and have my own creative vision to share with my fans without someone standing over me.” The Hollywood beauty was last on television on an episode of Domino Masters and her record for oldest FHM cover model, at age 41, still holds nine years later.
