Wow!

Carmen Electra is at it again, showing off her famous curves in a new Instagram post. The 49-year-old Ohio native delighted her 1.3 million Instagram fans with a picture in which she showed off her toned backside in a tight gold dress, seemingly without the use of Spanx! She captioned the photo with the words “Stay golden,” as she usually posts photos with words of hope and encouragement to fans. Thankfully, she never uses social media to air negative opinions or rant about politics. She just keeps making the world happy with her beauty and positive attitude, just as she’s done since the 1990s.
Showing off her curves and fashion sense is par for the course for Carmen. She recently shared a picture of her red carpet look for the American Music Awards, held in March in Los Angeles. The model-turned-actress actually started out in the music industry: her 1993 debut album, titled Carmen Electra, was produced by the legendary Prince, who mentored her as his protégé and even dated her for a short time. The album didn’t do well, and Carmen moved on to a prolific career in the 1990s, appearing in Playboy Magazine, starring on Baywatch, and making numerous appearances on MTV shows and specials, most notably as the host of Singled Out. She went on to then appear in dozens of films, including the Scary Movie series, Epic Movie, and Meet the Spartans.
In recent years, she has spent her time on various business ventures and made numerous TV appearances. In the midst of the pandemic, Carmen Electra even launched a skincare line, GOGO Skincare, which puts a focus on using natural ingredients to keep skin nourished and looking young. She’s also putting her sex symbol status to good use, using her appeal among guys her age to promote Legendz XL, a male enhancement product. She also supports a number of Los Angeles-area charities.
Her private life has been a pretty public matter, although Electra herself has been responsible for much of the controversy. She was married twice, to former NBA player and Chicago Bulls legend Dennis Rodman and rocker Dave Navarro. Her marriage to Rodman was a rocky one: they married in Las Vegas in November of 1998, only to have Rodman file for an annulment nine days later, claiming he was of “unsound mind” when he tied the knot. They reconciled and stayed together, but not for long; Carmen Electra herself filed for divorce in April of 1999. Her marriage to Navarro in 2003 led to a reality show, Til Death Do Us Part: Carmen and Dave, in 2004. It lasted one season, and the pair divorced in 2007. In 2004, she appeared in a series of commercials for USA Today with her Baywatch co-star Pamela Anderson.
If you’re hoping to see more of Carmen Electra, you may be in luck. In an appearance in January of 2021 on The Wendy Williams Show, Electra voiced her enthusiasm to return to Baywatch, should a reboot ever happen. “I would do a reboot, absolutely. I’m down,” she told the talk show host. Although David Hasselhoff is likely free to join a reboot as well, it may not happen anytime soon, as the disastrous 2017 movie reboot starring The Rock bombed with critics and moviegoers.
