Cara Delevingne Shows Off Her Cleavage In Classy Dress
Cara Delevingne wore a tulle dress to the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party.
Cara Delevingne arrived at the Vanity Fair post-Academy Awards party in full force and dramatically showed off the “model” part of “model-actress.” The Suicide Squad actress showed off her impressively risque neckline with a post on her Instagram account, where she currently boasts nearly 43 million followers. While Cara Delevingne has not made many public appearances in the last several years, this outfit definitely shows she has not lost any of the style that made her one of the most in-demand models in the world.
In the social media post, Cara Delevingne is wearing a gauzy, diaphanous dress by Italian fashion house Del Core, who also outfitted Guardians of the Galaxy star Karen Gillan and Big Little Lies star Shailene Woodley for the Academy Awards. Delevingne’s is something of a fashion contradiction, with one shoulder being draped in white tulle and the other being the extended rib of a corset, which can be seen beneath the translucent bodice.
Cara Delevingne’s dark blonde hair is pulled back tightly into a heavy, waist-length braid (styled by Danielle Priano), while her dark-rimmed, dramatic makeup is by Hung Vanngo, who very much accentuates the star’s signature “I don’t want to be here” expression. The “here” in question appears to be some kind of library, as the actress lounges against various bookshelves while hanging out with fellow Academy Award presenter Florence Pugh.
Currently, Cara Delevingne stars in the Amazon Prime Video series Carnival Row, alongside Pirates of the Caribbean and Lord of the Rings star Orlando Bloom. The series is set in a world in which humans and mythological figures co-exist in an uneasy balance, with characters like Delevingne’s faerie Vignette Stonemoss (hey, it’s a fantasy thing) living as an oppressed minority. The second season of the show recently premiered on the streaming service and will be the final season of the series.
There has been no word from DC Studios creative head James Gunn whether he plans to bring back Cara Delevingne’s Enchantress character, who served as the primary antagonist of David Ayer’s 2016 movie Suicide Squad. We recently reported that Will Smith will return as the super-assassin Deadshot at some point, while Margot Robbie’s version of Harley Quinn immediately became a fan-favorite character within the DCU. However, it still seems very much in the air who is staying or going (and as what character) in James Gunn’s new DCU, so you never know.
However, it is not as though Cara Delevingne has been short on projects as of late. She recently acted as executive producer and presenter on the BBC 3 documentary series Planet Sex, in which she explored little-discussed aspects of human sexuality (including her own) over the course of six episodes. She also appeared in the acclaimed Hulu comedy series Only Murders in the Building along with Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, and Martin Short, though she has not been reported as appearing in the upcoming third season.
