With his shirt off, the Die Hard actor holds his daughter close to his chest, cradling her head in his hands as a ray of sunshine streams into the room. 

Since announcing his illness in 2022, Bruce Willis’s family has been with him every step of the way, encouraging their loved one as he goes through some of the darkest hours of his life. Likewise, his sprawling fandom came out in droves to share their words of support and love for the entire Willis clan as is on full display in Scout’s end-of-the-year roundup. Followers flocked to comment on the behind-the-scenes look at the father and daughter’s close moment together, with many sharing their gratitude for Scout’s openness.

The outpouring of love for Bruce Willis certainly doesn’t come as a shock but is also likely a rejuvenating boost of energy for his family who have been by his side every step of the way.

Although the writing was all but on the wall, Bruce Willis happily continued his acting career during the early days of his battle with the disease. Sadly, almost two years ago, he realized it was time to retire when it became more and more challenging for him to memorize lines and recall blocking, all while becoming more confused on set.
