Britney Spears’ Friends And Family Scared For Her Life After Startling Revelation
Family and friends closest to Britney Spears were planning an intervention, as they believe she might die from taking "stimulant-inducing" medication.
Friends and family of Britney Spears are afraid that the singer might die if she doesn’t get her substance abuse under control, according to TMZ. A little more than a year after the “Toxic” singer was released from her conservatorship, fans, family, and friends have kept a scrutinous eye on the pop star and are worried she might hurt herself. Known for posting risque photos on social media, fans called the police to the singer’s house after she deleted her Instagram account, and recently those who are closer to the singer planned an intervention to convince Spears to seek help for her substance abuse.
Afraid for the singer’s life, Britney Spears’ manager rented a house in Los Angeles where they, along with the singer’s husband, Sam Asghari, as well as an interventionist and doctors, planned to meet an unsuspecting Spears to discuss the singer getting the help they believe she needs.
According to multiple people who spoke with TMZ and are close with the singer, Britney Spears has been struggling with her mental health and has been taking medication to help stimulate her. Unfortunately, according to these sources, the “Baby One More Time” singer is not taking the medications she needs to help stabilize her. Allegedly, this has led to frequent outbursts that have friends and family worried, as well as a public manic episode where the singer was seen rambling incoherently at a restaurant near her home in Los Angeles.
To help the singer, Britney Spears’ manager rented the Los Angeles home where the intervention was meant to take place for two months so that Spears could stay there with the medical doctors and psychological counselors and get her substance abuse and mental health back under control. However, the plan for the intervention was changed after the singer began to have suspicions about the upcoming intervention.
After Britney Spears became aware of the intervention, the plan for the singer to stay at the Los Angeles home while she healed from her condition was changed. While it is unknown exactly why Spears’ awareness of the plan for her to stay in the rented house while she recovered changed, it was reported that the singer still met with a doctor to discuss her condition, and sources told TMZ that the discussion went well.
According to the report, many of Britney Spears’ friends and family were involved in the plan to intervene with the singer. However, Spears’s father, Jamie Spears, and her two sons, Jayden and Sean Federline, were not involved in the situation. Britney Spears’s father, Jamie Spears, held the singer in a forced conservatorship for 13 years after she was involuntarily committed twice. Though the conservatorship ended in November 2021, Britney Spears is still dealing with the aftermath of the past 13 years, as well as continuing legal action instigated by her father.
Because of this, Britney Spears has a strained relationship with her family and has openly criticized them on social media. However, the singer has also attempted to repair her relationship with her teenage sons by censoring more of what she posts online.
