Portraying one of the most powerful heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is no easy feat, and Captain Marvel star Brie Larson recently took Instagram to give her followers a glimpse at the fierce workouts she does in order to maintain her chiseled physique. In the short clip she posted to the social network, which she appropriately paired with the new chart-topping Taylor Swift hit “Anti-Hero”, the 33-year-old actress uses her impressive strength to push an oversized weighted sack uphill.
Brie Larson shared the brief video with the caption, “My #Anti-Hero trait? Refusing conventional workouts.” She also tagged Taylor Swift seemingly attempting to show the artist just how inspiring her new single is. “Anti-Hero” is currently enjoying its second week as the number one track on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.
It’s no secret that Brie Larson is a fitness fanatic, and even long before landing the role of Carol Danvers in the MCU, her physical health was a huge priority. Although she frequently uses her Instagram page to share pictures of herself in sexy poses and donning stunning outfits, it’s not often that Larson gives her followers a peek at her brutal exercise regime. Perhaps she was feeling inspired and wanted to give her loyal fanbase a bit of motivation?

Details regarding the actress’s role are scarce, but she’s reportedly playing a character named Tess. Set to arrive in theaters May 19, 2023, the sequel stars Vin Diesel, Charlize Theron, Jason Momoa, Alan Ritchson, Michelle Rodriguez, Michael Rooker, Helen Mirren, Jordana Brewster, and Scott Eastwood.
