With all the hardcore workouts Brie Larson has to do to stay in superhero shape for films like The Marvels and Fast X, she undoubtedly needs some carbs to refuel. And it turns out those carbs sometimes come in the form of giant pretzels. Larson recently took to Instagram to share her appreciation for this form of knotted dough.

Brie Larson had a pretty quiet 2022, but we’re going to get a double dose of her action skills when she appears in both a Marvel movie and the Fast & Furious franchise. The Marvels is set to hit theaters on July 28, 2023, and will see Larson reprise her role as Carol Danvers in the sequel to 2019’s Captain Marvel. Larson won’t be the only hero on-screen though, as she’ll be joined by Iman Vellani as Khamala Khan and Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau.

Details about The Marvels are light, but supposedly the plot involves the three heroes switching places anytime they use their powers. Along with Brie Larson, Vellani, and Parris, the film is also set to star Samuel L. Jackson, Zawe Ashton, and Park Seo-joon. Nia DaCosta is directing.

Brie Larson will also be making her debut in the Fast & Furious franchise with Fast X, which is supposedly the first of a two-part ending to the Fast saga. We’ll get Fast X right before The Marvels comes out, with a release date set for May 19, 2023. Fast X is being directed by Louis Leterrier, who took over after Justin Lin dropped from the position over creative differences.

Justin Lin did, however, remain on as producer for Fast X, which is set to be one of the most star-studded Fast & Furious films yet. Along with Brie Larson, the film will bring newcomers Jason Momoa, Daniela Melchior, Alan Ritchson, and Rita Moreno into the fold. Although recurring cast member Dwayne Johnson won’t be returning, the film will bring back Vin Diesel, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, John Cena, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, Scott Eastwood, Michael Rooker, Cardi B, Helen Mirren, Charlize Theron, and Anna Sawai.

Brie Larson will also be making a shift to the small screen following her two massive blockbusters, with plans for her to star and executive produce two shows for Apple TV+. One of the series will put Larson’s action skills to good use as she stars in a series based on the real-life experiences of a CIA operative. The series is currently untitled and doesn’t have a release date yet.

Brie Larson’s other Apple TV+ series is titled Lessons in Chemistry and will star Larson as Elizabeth Zotts, a woman who dreams of becoming a scientist who becomes pregnant and finds herself alone and fired. Along with Larson, the series is set to star Lewis Pullman, Thomas Mann, and Kevin Sussman. This one doesn’t have a release date either, but we’ll keep you updated on the latest.

In the meantime, we’ll just have to check out Brie Larson’s Instagram to see what the actress is up to. Fortunately, she’s an avid social media user and posts plenty of great content. Who couldn’t use more giant pretzel pics in their life?
