Brie Larson pretty regularly posted videos from her workouts to her fans during the filming of The Marvels, but the sequel to Captain Marvel wrapped filming months ago. Now, the actress has another big action film to keep in shape for. She’s one of the many stars joining the “family” for Fast X. And so she’s still giving us all the privilege of watching her workout. Earlier today, she posted a video of herself hanging upside down in tight workout clothes.

The short video was posted to Brie Larson’s Instagram account with the caption “trying new things…” She walks leisurely up to a set of handlebars, pulls herself up toward the ceiling, pulling her knees up as she does so. She hangs upside for a few seconds before slowly letting herself down. It’s really not a surprise that she can pull off being one of Marvel’s most powerful superheroes. You can watch the video below.

The video from Brie Larson will be reaching more viewers than ever. A little under a month ago, the actress celebrated the impressive milestone of hitting 7 million followers on Instagram. She posted a picture marking the occasion with the clouds rearranged to spell out “7,000,000.” You can see that post below.

Unfortunately, if you were hoping to see Brie Larson flying through clouds, stars, and more, well — you’ll still get to do it but you’ll just have to wait a little bit longer. Last week came the news that The Marvels and Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania played a little bit of musical chairs. The Marvels had been to set to release February 17, 2023 while the third Ant-Man film was scheduled for July 28, 2023. Last week came the word that the films will be switching release dates, with The Marvels now coming out in July. The official reason given for the switch was that Ant-Man 3 is further along in the production process, but we couldn’t help but notice that news broke only a few days after it was revealed that Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer and the Margot Robbie-led Barbie movie — both of which are expected to draw big crowds — will both be released the weekend before on July 21, 2o23. Considering Captain Marvel‘s worldwide gross of $1.1 billion is roughly the same worldwide gross of both of the first two Ant-Man movies combined, it doesn’t seem too crazy to imagine Disney would be more confident with The Marvels facing off against the second weekends for Oppenheimer and Barbie than it would Ant-Man 3.

Of course, there’s always the possibility we’ll see Brie Larson show up for Ms. Marvel. The next Disney+ original series is due to premiere on Disney+ on Wednesday, June 8. The series will star Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel. Considering both that part of Khan’s origin story is the inspiration she finds in Captain Marvel’s example, and that Vellani will be starring in The Marvels alongside Larson and Teyonah Parris, fans will certainly be hoping for a cameo.
