See Brie Larson Double-Fisting With A Smile
Nobody parties like the Captain (Marvel, that is), as a new Instagram post from Brie Larson shows.
We always figured Brie Larson is a woman who knows how to party, and her latest Instagram post proves just that, as she showed off her ability to down two cocktails at the same time, showing her double-fisted skills extend to more than just punching Thanos. The 33-year-old Oscar-winning actress shared some pictures from an unnamed event, calling it a “girls’ night in two pictures,” with a picture of herself handling two drinks in one picture, and a second picture featuring a visit to the ladies’ restroom, complete with two occupants who seem happy to be photographed by the Kong: Skull Island star.
Larson seems to making the most of her down time from the set, as many of her recent Instagram posts have featured her at various outings or enjoying a holiday, like her recent trip to Party City in preparation for Halloween. Sadly, she didn’t share pictures of her actual Halloween outfit.
Larson is currently shooting a new project, as she recently posted a selfie from the makeup trailer, but didn’t reveal exactly which project it is. She’s sporting a blond wig in the picture, which doesn’t exactly fit her Captain Marvel look, so we doubt it’s related to her Marvel Cinematic Universe projects. We know filming on her latest film, Fast X, wrapped in August, sop this may be a set picture from Lessons in Chemistry, an Apple TV+ series she is playing the lead in, alongside Hollywood legend Beau Bridges and Lewis Pullman. Set in the 1960s, the series is based on Bonnie Garmus’ novel about a woman fired from her job for being pregnant, so she puts her dream of being a scientist aside to start a cooking show.
We won’t have to wait long to see Brie Larson take to the skies again for as Captain Marvel. The sequel to her 2019 solo adventure, titled The Marvels, premieres in theaters on July 28, 2023, with Larson’s Carol Danvers fighting an unnamed villain with the newest Marvel hero, Ms. Marvel/Kamala Khan, played by Iman Vellani. Teyonah Parris returns to the cast as well, playing Monica Rambeau.
Born Brianne Sidonie Desaulniers, the Sacramento native began studying drama at the age of six, and had two big roles while still in her early teens, in the WB series Raising Dad and the Disney Channel movie Right on Track (2003). She scored a high-profile role in 2004’s Sleepover, and followed that up with a scene-stealing role in the 2007 Amber Heard film Remember the Daze. She had a breakthrough role as Kate in the Showtime series The United States of Tara, opposite Toni Collette and created by Juno writer Diablo Cody.
She had a short-lived but successful career as a teen pop star, but acting took precedent, as she had a memorable role in Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, and followed that with winning the Oscar for Best Actress in a leading role for Room in 2015. Kong: Skull Island soon followed, and then Marvel Studios came calling with her landmark role as one of the cornerstone characters in the MCU, playing a significant role in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, two of the biggest blockbusters of all time.
