In some Monday morning news that should come as a shock to no one, The Marvels star Brie Larson has shared another glamorous look. In an Instagram post, which you can see below, the Academy Award-winning actress celebrated the Gold Gala in a set of images alongside some familiar faces. Dressed in a glittering cream dress, a different look from some yoga sets we’ve seen recently, the star rang in the big night in Hollywood in her finest fit.
While most of the shots in the lineup are standalones of Brie Larson goofing off at the star-studded event, one image sees her having the time of her life while sharing a table with her The Marvels co-star and Ms. Marvel star Iman Vellani. In her caption, Larson reveals that she was the presenter of the New Gold award, which was passed to Vellani. Giving a little pizazz to her caption, Larson cheekily wrote “Still marveling at the attendees of the #GoldGala.”
A favorite not just among fans but also her peers, the comment section wasn’t at a loss when it came to big names lining up to share their love for the superstar. When it comes to the MCU, there’s no doubt that the folks involved are all super tight with Brie Larson’s frequent collaborator Samuel L. Jackson dropping a comment alongside Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings star Simu Liu. Also spotted in the long list of supporters was fashionista Paris Hilton.
The next several months will see Brie Larson busting out of gown after gown as the actress has a lot of projects waiting in the wings. In just a little over one week, audiences will see the star dip her toes into her next franchise when she appears in Louis Leterrier’s Fast X. One of the newest add-ons to the latest installment in the saga, Larson will appear as a good guy in the feature that brings back the likes of Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Helen Mirren, and Nathalie Emmanuel with Aquaman’s Jason Momoa also appearing as the freshest baddie.
Just in time for holiday viewing, Brie Larson will return to her role as Captain Marvel aka Carol Danvers in The Marvels alongside the previously mentioned Iman Vellani and Teyonah Parris. In her first character-heavy film since 2019’s Captain Marvel, the feature will see the three heroes’ lives set on a collision course. Samuel L. Jackson will also be back in the action as Nick Fury, along with everyone’s favorite flerken, Goose.
Finally, Brie Larson will be returning to the small screen in both the Apple TV+ drama Lessons in Chemistry and the now highly-anticipated Scott Pilgrim: The Anime which will see her team up with members of the original live-action feature as they carry the story to new heights. Beyond those four projects, it’s unclear what Brie Larson has up her sleeve, but we anticipate nothing but greatness from our queen.
